For the past two years, he’s been with the rescue, watching other dogs find their homes while he patiently hopes his turn will come. He doesn’t understand why he’s still here—but he never stops being the happy, loving dog he’s always been. Personality Benito is a joyful, affectionate dog who truly loves people. He has a happy, easygoing spirit and brings warmth wherever he goes. He enjoys being around others, soaking up attention, and simply being part of a family. He’s the kind of dog who greets you with happiness, stays close, and makes you feel like you matter. His love is genuine, steady, and always there. Breed Info As an Australian Shepherd / Dalmatian mix, Benito carries traits of: Intelligence and awareness A loyal, people-focused nature A balanced mix of energy and companionship This mix creates a dog who is engaged, loving, and adaptable, happy to be active but also content just being with his people. Ideal Home Benito would do best in a home where he is finally given the love and stability he has been waiting for. He will thrive with a family who includes him in daily life and gives him the attention he deserves. Owner Responsibilities Benito will need regular exercise, routine, and continued care. Like all dogs, he requires structure, guidance, and a lifelong commitment. Things to Consider He has been waiting longer than most. Story
He's cute, he's fun and he promises to bring lots of love to your life every single day. Jovi is a 7-year-old, approx. 56 lbs, Australian Shepherd mix. He’s smart, playful, friendly and good with dogs his size with proper introductions. Small dogs/animals and cats are, unfortunately, a no go for this fella. Jovi loves human companionship and he does well with kids, but his enthusiasm makes him a better fit for older ones. He is house and crate trained and his leash skills, well, they are a work in progress. Jovi's favorite activities include running, playing in the kiddie pool and snuggling after a long day of play. This guys ideal match would be an experienced, patient and committed home that can provide structure and boundaries. Jovi needs an area to expend his bursts of Aussie energy, so a fenced yard is required. Once those bursts are expended, he's ready to snuggle in for a good book or a movie. Jovi is looking for a home where he can stretch out, soak up attention and claim his rightful spot on the couch. If you’re searching for a playful, affectionate dog with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Jovi is ready to be your guy. ***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION*** Adoption fee is $600 All dogs are fully vetted before leaving rescue (vaccinations, spay or neuter and microchip). Rock-A-Bully and Friends Rescue is based in Houston, TX. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. Transport is available to select cities in the NE, Midwest and Pacific NW. Thank you for considering adoption! ***TO SUBMIT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION: Adoption Application is linked towards the top and further down on this page (https://www.rockabullyaf.org/adoption-application.html) OR Visit our website: WWW.ROCKABULLYAF.ORG ⭐️ Please notify your VET & REFERENCES and authorize them to speak with us regarding your application. NOTE: Please practice the 3-3-3 Rule when bringing home a new furry family member. Adopted dogs need patience and understanding as they decompress in a new home with new people and a new schedule. Story
🐾Meet Talladega! 🐾 Talladega is a stunning 3-year-old Aussiedoodle mix weighing about 25 pounds, with a soft coat and an even softer heart. This handsome boy may be a little nervous when first meeting new people or entering new environments, but underneath that shy exterior is a truly sweet and gentle companion just waiting to feel safe. Talladega thrives with patience and kindness. Once he begins to trust you, his affectionate nature starts to shine through, and he’ll happily stay close by your side. He would do best in a calm, understanding home that can give him the time he needs to build confidence and settle in at his own pace. He would do best in a home with no other dogs. With his good looks, sweet personality, and loving potential, Talladega is ready to find a forever family who will help him feel safe, cherished, and right where he belongs. Adoption fee is: $400 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022

Hello this is Lola she is 7 years old she’s been with me for a while and I really don’t want to let her go but due to certain circumstances I cant afford her needs but she is a very happy dog, she loves people, kids, and I would say she gets along with dogs and cat She might be up there in age but she definitely has a couple more years to go. She love being outdoors and indoors, she loves being petted. I’m just looking for a great home for her, maybe indoors? I have her outside due to my mom not liking animals inside but occasionally inside, I would feel happier if she had a home where she’s able to go indoors :)!

Story
Hello, I am a very good boy and just the absolute sweetest. At 8 years old, I am a little on the older side, but can still be goofy and still very happy to play tug of war or endlessly toss the ball. I received a lot of training as a puppy and so I am very smart. Although I am very happy to play, I am also always down to be a little snuggle bug.

Story
Meet Maya – A Spirited Sweetheart Looking for Her Forever Home! Name: Maya Breed: Australian Kelpie–Terrier Mix DOB: December 7, 2024 Weight: 30 pounds Spayed, Vaccinated, and Healthy About Maya: Maya is a beautiful, medium-sized girl with a bright mind and a playful heart. She’s active, friendly, and full of curiosity. Whether it’s chasing a ball, going for a walk, or exploring the backyard, Maya is always up for an adventure. She loves people and enjoys being part of the action—but when playtime is over, she’s happy to curl up near her favorite humans. Breed Info – Australian Kelpie x Terrier: Australian Kelpies are highly intelligent, loyal working dogs with strong herding instincts. Terriers are energetic, clever, and full of personality. As a mix, Maya is the perfect blend of smart and spirited. She’ll thrive in a home that can provide both physical activity and mental stimulation. Expect a dog who learns quickly, bonds deeply, and loves to stay busy. Owner Responsibilities: Provide daily exercise (walks, playtime, or training games) Offer basic obedience training and positive reinforcement Feed a healthy diet and maintain regular veterinary care Include Maya in family life—she’s not a dog to leave alone or chained outside Keep her mentally and physically active to prevent boredom Provide love, patience, structure, and a sense of safety Things to Consider Before Adopting Maya: Time & Energy: Maya needs more than a quick potty break. She’ll do best with a person or family who is active and engaged. Finances: Dogs require ongoing expenses (food, vet visits, flea/tick prevention, grooming, toys, etc.). Housing Rules: Make sure your landlord allows pets—especially medium-to-large breeds. Allergies: Check for pet allergies in the household. Lifelong Commitment: Maya could live 12–15+ years. She’s not a temporary guest—she’s family. No Outdoor Chains or Isolation: Maya needs interaction, exercise, and affection. Leaving her tied outside is not safe or fair to her well-being. Why Maya Will Be a Great Addition: Maya is intelligent, affectionate, and ready to love her people with her whole heart. She’s great for active individuals, couples, or families who want a smart, loyal companion to join them on walks, hikes, or playtime in the yard. With the right environment and care, Maya will blossom into your most loyal friend—one who makes you smile every single day.
