HI! I'm a very healthy, sweet, smart, energetic, 4 yo girl who absolutely loves people, but dogs not so much, although some dogs I'm okay with if I'm introduced slowly and for short visits, with calm confident people. I used to live with my senior cat brother, and I loved him so much, but he went home to Jesus recently. I would really love a 5 ft. fenced yard and an active human. I live in an apartment and my mom loves me sooo much, but she works a lot. My older human brother moved out. He used to run with me. I never chew things that aren't mine. I have dozens of awesome toys and I treat them all nicely. I stay inside when the front door opens. I potty outside. My favorite things are running, tug, fetch, and training. I know "down" and "leave it" the best, and I love nose-work games. I can walk on a loose leash with a slip lead. Though, I will pull for a passer by. I love to jump on people. I rarely jump on my mom, but everyone else is too difficult to resist, but I do try not to.

Welcome Simba to CCPAL Rescue. Simba is a 6-month old Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd dog. He weighs about 35 pounds and may be fully grown. We think he will be a medium sized dog full grown. He is great with other dogs, good in a crate, smart and good with people. He is stunningly beautiful with the ice-blue eyes. This boy has beautiful ears that are almost fully erect now. He is smart, affectionate and will make some family a wonderful companion. He is great with other dogs, good in a car and getting his vaccinations. He is neutered and ready for his forever home. He can be adopted locally in Texas. He would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He is in Texas now at CCPAL Rescue. He could be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland(Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. This lucky girl came to us via a good samaritan. Noell was found searching for food by a dumpster. Her sister had come in 2 days prior who was also searching for food by that same dumpster. No Mom to be found. Both girls were full of parasites, lethargic and very hungry. After being vetted they were feeling better and started to show their personalities. Noell is super affectionate, playful and smart. . . and she is so soft! If interested in meeting this beautiful girl please email us.

This sweet face was found and brought to a local kill shelter. The volunteers went into action and contacted us to see if we had room. We did! Holly is a sweet, playful, happy, fuzzy girl, who just want attention. She is a very expressive girl and will tell you how she is feeling. Holly has lots of energy so she will need lots of room to play. She would make the best companion. If interested in meeting Holly please email us for an application.
