Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- New Braunfels, TX Meet Bentley! She is an 6 year old Miniature American Shepherd and weighs 30 lbs. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention. Bentley is great with older children, cats, and dogs! No younger children, due to her reactivity! Bentley bit the owner’s 2 year old daughter on her face. She jumped on the couch to sit next to the owner’s daughter. Their daughter leaned into Bentley with her weight and elbows, which caused Bentley to turn around and bite. She is currently taking fluoxetine, but the owner says this isn’t required by their vet or trainer. She is reactive in certain situations: delivery men, thunderstorms, fireworks, doorbells, vacuums, and hair dryers. Bentley also has some resource guarding issues. The owner is surrendering her because she bit their 2 year old daughter. She needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible! If you think you can provide a great home for Bentley, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. Marshall is an adorable Australian Shepherd Lab mix who was adopted from a shelter when he was 3 months old. He is now 2y/o and is full of love. He is very energetic and the perfect dog to play with. He is very caring, very smart, and has the mind of a service dog (once given the proper training). He loves to run and play catch. He listens well and obeys. He needs a good amount of play time to balance out his energetic spirit, but with a busy schedule that’s hard for us to provide. His love language is physical touch and quality time. He just wants you there to pet him. He’s very low maintenance, doesn’t shed much, doesn’t like eating more than twice a day (excluding treats & snacks), loves water.

Story
Nala is a sweet loving girl. Loves to play and have fun. Unfortunately she has a little too much fun with our older German Shepard and they have started to not get along. Mostly over toys and things. I think she would do great with a family with a big back yard that loves to play. She's almost a year and a half old so she has plenty of time to grow with your family. I think she would do better with a laid back dog and experienced owners. She's also good with our cats.
