Look no further. Patches is a 9 month old Aussie Mix. We have had him since he was 8 weeks old. He was born in May 2024. We adopted him from a foster. He has been through the pet smart puppy training, neutered and micro chipped. Up to date on all shots. He is crate trained and sleeps comfortably in his home at night. Also does great in crate when family is at work and school. Our employment has changed and he is in his crate from 7am-3pm. Does fine, but would love to see him in a home where this isn’t a necessity. He is partly house trained and gets along well with our senior pit bull. We are rehoming him because he is not a good fit for a family with small children. He is true to his herding nature and has anxiety in an environment with small, loud children running around. Patches would love an owner that takes him on walks and can continue to play with him in a fenced backyard.

Story

Rush is about 2 years old. He is very loveable. We need to rehome him because we recently moved and he he is not acclimating well to the new living environment. We have many more neighbors than we used to and he is just so curious and excited about all the activity that he will not respect our property boundary. As such, it is impossible to get him the exercise he needs. We have tried everything and have come to realize that Rush simply needs a different environment than we can provide right now. He has demonstrated a high capacity for training but he is beyond our abilities, especially in our new circumstance and would be a wonderful companion for the right owner and family.

This precious little princess has been hand raised since birth. She and her mom ( Aussie mix ) have been in a loving foster home in Memphis Tn since the day she was born. Pixie is very sweet. Well socialized . Loving. Curious. Typical puppy. She is kennel trained ( with a sibling ) and does well with children and all other dogs . Once adopted, Pixie will transport with Rescue Vet Transport to her new forever family ( additional $185). I thought she was going to someone but it didn't work out so I deleted this account than had to do a new one. she's a 2 year old Australian Shepherd/Heeler mix. Loves to run and swim. She does great with other dogs. Crate and potty trained. Will want to sleep with you at the bottom of your feet but will also sleep in her crate. If walking she will have to be leashed(she loves exploring too much). Not recommended at homes with small children under the age of 8. Up to date on shots. She is spayed and has a micro chip. Walter in Oliver Springs, EAST Tennessee Meet Walter! He is available for adoption and is currently being fostered in East Tennessee. Walter is a 9 month old Aussie who is full of love and energy! He is neutered, potty trained, fully vaccinated and current on preventatives. He loves to snuggle with you and get pets but also always ready to play and run. He gets along with other dogs and absolutely loves his 2 foster siblings. However, Walter can be PICKY with who he chooses to befriend. Walter will require a meet n' greet with any current dogs in the applicants home or dogs that he will spend a lot of time with. Walter is also cat friendly but being a puppy does still get excited when they make noise or run. Walter is also WONDERFUL with aussie savvy kiddos! He is looking for a home with a family that will give him lots of love, lots of exercise. He does know a few commands but is still in the puppy stage so will also need more training. My husband and I are needing to rehome our sweet Milo. He has a gentle and loving personality with cats or by himself. He is a great dog to go on long runs or hikes with and he will stay right by your side. However, he is very reactive to dogs he does not know but has been doing well with our current dog. Milo will be 2 years old in April. He deserves more attention than we are able to give him. We recently moved into full time job roles with extra responsibilities. He needs the ability to be outside more often than we can take him out and he needs someone who can work with him on crate training if he is to be indoors. He would be perfect for someone who has an active lifestyle and can devote their energy for Milo to be their best friend. Milo is mostly golden retriever and Australian shepherd. However, he does have a small percentage of pit bull and terrier in him.

Cotton is a very special and loving boy, who was born deaf. According to a DNA test, he is a double merle, most likely responsible for his deafness and unique blue eyes. He and his foster mom have been working with a professional trainer to learn alternative means of communication, such as the use of hand signals. Cotton is a quick learner and wants to please his human(s). He is about 2 ½ years old and weighs about 25 pounds. He is housetrained but might have an occasional accident. He gets along well with a cat and other small animals in his foster home. Cotton is a cute and playful boy. While he loves playing with his human(s), he also entertains himself playing independently with a variety of toys. He has a soft, somewhat fluffy coat and loves to be snuggled and petted. While Cotton would make a wonderful addition to any home, he needs a family committed to learning how he communicates with humans, providing him with consistency. The professional trainer working with Cotton and his foster mom offers transitional services to assist with acclimation to new homes for a minimal cost.
