Story
Nebula, a truly beautiful dog. While her past holds some hardship – she was found living on the streets with her seven puppies – her spirit shines through. Nebula is a sweet and beautiful girl, possessing a gentle nature that will blossom with the right amount of patience and understanding. Nebula's intelligence is evident in her quick grasp of commands. She's already house-trained and crate-trained, demonstrating a willingness to learn and adapt. She enjoys walks immensely, exhibiting a calm and easy-going temperament. What Nebula truly desires is a loving home where she can finally feel safe and secure. While her street life has made her initially cautious around new people, once she builds trust, her playful puppy-like energy resurfaces. It's a beautiful transformation to witness. We believe Nebula would thrive in a quiet and patient home, ideally with someone experienced in working with dogs who have experienced trauma. With the right care, she'll become the most loyal and loving companion imaginable. If you're interested in learning more about Nebula and potentially offering her a loving forever home, please don't hesitate to contact us. $200 In State Adoption Fee (in Texas) $400 Out of State Fee (includes Transportation to your area) $50 Temporary fuel surcharge.

Story
Meet Meeka’s Pups! Our story began in the most dramatic way—our mom, Meeka, arrived at the rescue in active labor with us! Meeka is a beautiful Lab/Australian Shepherd mix, and she brought nine of us into the world, each with our own unique look. Some of us have long legs, while others are low riders with long bodies and short legs. Our coats come in all different colors and textures, making us a truly one-of-a-kind litter! We are adventurous little explorers who love zooming around the yard, collecting sticks, and pouncing on our siblings. Toys are our absolute favorite—whether they squeak, bounce, or are extra fluffy, we love them all! After all the fun, nothing beats curling up in a warm lap for some snuggles. If you're looking for a playful, adventurous, and affectionate companion, one of us might be the perfect match for you! Freckles looks like he's gonna be a lowrider. Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Fostered in Murfreesboro, TN, meet Kyra (pronounced KEERA)! This little spitfire was born to do dog sports, so if you have experience in this area and are looking for your next partner, you’ve come to the right spot. She is about 1 year old and 38 lbs. Miss Kyra is extra high energy and high velcro and needs an adopter who understands how to work with dogs like this. Her foster grandma calls her “little miss Mighty Might” because she is so go-go-go! Kyra’s favorite games currently are frisbee and Chuck-It in the backyard. She would be great at disc, agility, lure coursing, or flyball (and probably any other sport). She does fine with her foster brother and other dogs, but is generally not interested in playing with dogs. She much prefers playing with her humans, which means a lot of dedicated time to her throughout the day. Kyra is quite barky, so places like apartments and townhomes are not likely to be a good fit. She is extra friendly with new women but takes a few minutes to warm up to men (treats and fetch will win her over in a jiffy, her foster dad is now her favorite person ever). Kyra is crate trained; she sleeps in her crate and stays in her crate when the humans are out of the house. She is housebroken as long as she has frequent trips outside otherwise she won’t be able to hold it. She prefers to ride in a crate for car rides; if that can be accommodated she’s a dynamite traveler. Has not been kid tested but her fosters feel she would be fine. Must have’s: experience with high energy herding dogs, large fenced yard preferred or experience training boundaries (she has been known to chase cars), dog sport experience preferred, extremely active lifestyle. If Kyra sounds like the pawfect fit for you, fill out an application ASAP. She is spayed, UTD on shots and ready to go home! Here is our application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which include registration and transfer to her new furever family.

Story
Meet Alice, our darling brown and white girl that has the most memorable face and sky high ears you have ever seen.   This girl was born around the middle of May and is thought to be combination of lots of breed influences.   For starters we think that Cattle Dog and Aussie might be a mixture that are dominant for her.  She is one smart little girl that adorable her foster family and all the other big dogs (several German Shepherds are her mentors and big sisters) and many foster cats are present as well in the home.  Her boundless happy puppy energy catapults her through the days as she grows in to a true beauty inside and out.  She is so playful and loving and always ready for the next BIG ADVENTURE!  She loves to chase toys and explore the backyard for new things to do and maybe a few squirrels to make friends with.  She absorbs whatever you teach her like a sponge.  Her foster mom is an excellent trainer and knows the importance of teaching manners and commands.  Her friendly nature makes her easy to meet new people and she is does not shy away from new experiences either.  She is a snuggler when she is tired and very loving as she sits beside you to watch a good TV show.  This girl will be an excellent recall pup since she is learning that now and is so eager to please and be with her humans.  If you are interested in this beauty who will grow to be a 45-50 pound girl, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   Let us know where you live: city and state when you are inquiring. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.January 2, 2025, 12:59 pm

Story
Hi, everyone. My name is Special Stella, and I am a beloved, fun, well-trained 5 year old Yellow Lab/Aussie mix girl that is only 50 pounds and who is looking for a new home without young children.  I have been with my young couple, mom and dad.For the past four years, and I have been very happy and loved. And during that time, it was discovered that young energetic children made me nervous.   Now my mom and dad are having a baby and they say it would be best if I went to a home with no young young children and yeah, would be best.If I was the only dog unless I lived with a submissive male, that would not challenge me to be the top dog.   I have lived with a cat and my only bad habit is I love cat food. I am housebroken and crate, trained and leash trained, and I know commands. And I am a very good girl. That will be your buddy, rick riding around town and your suv or a pickup truck or going out on the lake in the boat for the summer months.  I'm really a good girl, but I just have 2 things that I probably do. Don't meet in my life and that is a dominant dog around me and young children. That are you being what god made them to be,  young, energetic and loud and sometimes a little too quick to make movements that make me nervous.   We are all heartbroken that I have to find a new home. Critter Cavalry promised my Dad, who originally adopted me just to be his buddy before he got married, that they would help me find the perfect place for me to live out the next ten years or more of my life.   I promise to be the best companion you've ever had.   Please consider me to come and live with you and watch TV. At your feet or go for hikes. In the woods or just take naps in the afternoon on a lazy Winter day.  I am fully vetted and microchipped and come with great dog manners and very few bad habits. Unless you have a cat and I try to eat their food.  Please consider me and write to Critter.Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com.  Tell them where you live: city and state.   They are based in Tennessee and not only adoot to Tennessee, but also transport to the Northeast.    ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Story
This precious girl is called Grammy, and she is a sweet 6-7 year old Aussie/Collie mix. She came from a very small town shelter in Tennessee where she very calmly waited for someone to come along and get her out of that very small concrete cell. She was found as a stray, and no one came to  claim her. Critter Cavalry was broken hearted knowing she was there alone in the tiny concrete cell. We got a temporary foster for her to get out and go to the vet. Grammy is 55 pounds and a beautiful girl that has only love to give and certainly in need of love herself. We know nothing about her except that she is VERY CHILL and needs to be in a home.  She loves to go for car rides and seems to have been going for rides in a former life. Grammy is partially deaf but that doesn't stop her from being an AWESOME dog. A foster home would be great as a temporary stepping stone while she waits for a family to give their heart and home to her.  This girl is housebroken and good with cats, other dogs (if they don't get in her space and face too quickly) and she doesn't need a crate because she is not destructive.   If you can help in some way, adopt or foster,  please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue. at ccrtennessee@gmail.com  or text us at 615 661 5333.  Please help us save Grammy  ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Story
Our pretty girl is called Koya and she is about 10 months old and weighs 32 pounds and appears to be a  small Aussie mix girl with such a beautiful smile and soft luxurious coat of shiny black and tan and white fur.  This girl has not spent much of her early life with other dogs and is learning how to play with them and to respect boundaries of others.   She is wonderful in the foster home with the  young 6 year old active boy and she is accepting the cats in the home and showing them space and respect when she approaches them.  This girl is really a compact little beauty that will need a medium amount of exercise and a good and consistent training program will be the best for her as she gets older.  This little girl was found as a stray and taken to a small town shelter in Middle Tennessee. She was cowering in the corner of her kennel and one of the director of the shelter begged Critter Cavalry Rescue to try and find a foster to put her in to our foster program.  She is learning to find a calm state of mind and to find her wonderful smile again.  This girl is working on crate and house training.  She came to us on March 4th and so she is brand new to learning her best dog manners.  This girl is going to make someone a wonderful and loving jewel to raise and make her part of your family life.  She needs a consistent homelife and patient people to help her find her best groove in life.  If you are interested please email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   We transport weekly out of state to the northeast and also adopt to Tennessee and surrounding southern areas.    ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Story
Our litter of 6 puppies are named after royalty and we feel that they deserve a special life that is fit for a royal family.  This handsome soft and fuzzy boy is called Prince Louie and he is a Shepherd and Lab mix boy that is 20 lbs. and was born around December 1st 2024.  He lived outside in a small makeshift pen for the first 12 weeks of his life.  Critter Cavalry Rescue took in 6 pups who consisted of 2 female and 4 males.  All of them are sweet and friendly and going to be very easy going, fun puppies to raise to become smart adults.  Prince Louie is all boy his foster mom Jodi, says.  He is very people oriented which is amazing since he has not been in our care but since March 4th.  Louie is a puppy that loves to cuddle and be loved on. Recently at a Puppy Yoga class at the YMCA, he went from person to person greeting them with easy attention and occasionally kisses.  He is fearless and inquisitive and working on his crate training skills since he has never experienced a crate.   He is getting used to what outside potty breaks are all about and he is the softest boy with bunny rabbit feeling fur.  Prince Louie will be a 60+ boy when fully grown.  He is primarily a shiny black with the right accents of white on his chest and his toes. He is very active and playful and like most boy puppies, he runs and plays HARD.  Housetraining is in progress.  He is a fun puppy that plays well with other dogs and loves everyone he meets. He tries to show dominance a lot with the female sister and the foster mom’s female adult dog.  He is flexing his muscles.  He will probably be the leader of the pack in a new home if there are other dogs.  It will be important to keep this boy socialized with other dogs as he grows up and to teach him not to have everything his way.  Always important with confident dogs who love to control things.  Funny story…At yoga he picked up someone’s keys attached to their wallet and took off running through the crowd. He has some mischief in his soul.  Made everyone laugh.    If you are interested in this boy please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.March 12, 2025, 8:26 am

Story
Meet Kage, the ultimate good boy who's just so darn cute! This gentleman is a pro at house living, fully potty trained, and a master at walking on a leash and harness. He's a social butterfly, getting along famously with other dogs and loving those backyard playdates with his pals. Kage is a stunning mix of Lab and Border Collie, the perfect blend of intelligence and family-friendliness. He's just the right size, like a mini Lab or a slightly larger Border Collie. When you find two fantastic things that go together like peanut butter and jelly, you celebrate! Kage is that winning combo, and now you can celebrate by making him a cherished member of your family. His temperament is pure gold - sweet as honey with everyone he meets. Now, here's the scoop: Kage is a special needs pup, and he's looking for someone who can be with him about 90 percent of the time. Storms, rain, and loud noises send him into severe panic attacks, and he's been known to chew through walls when anxiety strikes. Crates aren't his jam because of past storm-related trauma. He's also dealing with seizures, so he's on medication for that. Kage would thrive in a local adoption, and he's best as a single dog with no cats or small animals around. He's a wonderful companion for older kids, and he loves nothing more than cuddles and long walks. He's got the whole house training thing down too. His foster mom adores him and has prepared him for his forever family as best she can. Now, the ball is in your court. Remember, when you adopt Kage, you're not just bringing home a good boy; you're giving him the loving, understanding home he deserves. Don't shop, adopt, because Kage's life depends on it! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Hello, This is Marceline, she is just about 7 years old and we think some kind of Collie / pit mix of some type. She is a sweet dog with people and loves to run, but also snuggle up under the covers with you. We have had her since she was a puppy and she knows most of her basic commands. Over the past year, she has started becoming aggressive to our other dog. We had separated them and tried working with her to eventually try and re-introduce them at some point, but it has come to the point where that is no longer an option. Our hope is to try and find a home for her with someone who doesn't have any other animals and is experienced in handling a dog with this kind of issue to allow her to have a less stressful and more fulfilling life. She just went to the vet yesterday and got updated on all her shots and was given a clean bill of health. She didn't have any outward aggression toward any of the other dogs there, however we did not let her get close enough to interact.
