Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Huntsville, AL Meet Vigo! He is an 7 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 57 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention. Vigo is good around older children! No younger children, farm animals, cats, or dogs, due to his reactivity! Vigo bit the owner’s 8 month old child. Their nanny was watching her and they told them to not let her get close to Vigo. However, she crawled onto his bed while he was laying down and he bit her on the face. The owner is surrendering him because of his aggression towards their baby. He needs to go ASAP! If you think you can provide a great home for Vigo, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. Indy was the littlest puppy in a litter of 12. He was born in Feb 2024. He is a mixed breed - genetic testing shows Australian Shepherd (mini and regular), Great Pyrenees, Pit Bull, and other terrier. He is crate/kennel trained, leash/harness trained (doesn’t like to be on leash with his collar), follows all major commands easily and with joy. Responds VERY well to treats and routine training. He loves to tug on rope toys, play fetch, and soccer. Our family is grown up, VERY busy, and rarely home. He deserves a young family who will interact and play with him regularly. He is sweet natured, gentle, loyal and obedient but he needs more interaction than we can give. We want him to be in a home where he will be an integral part of a family. He deserves that. He’s a really good dog!
