5 mo. old Autumn (13 pounds and won’t get much bigger) is very baby-like and extremely silly. She is a comedian and knows exactly how to make you laugh. She is a little goofball. She also has the most pleasant sweetest temperament, and is extremely patient. She is on the calm side for an Aussie. She loves to be held and rocked like a baby and will lay her head on your shoulder and fall asleep. You do not have to put much effort into entertaining her, as she is great self occupying by your side. House broken, trained, AKC and ASDR registered. Genetically tested and clear of everything. 100% purebred. She will live a long and healthy life. Up to date on all vaccinations. She has a slight underbite. Story
Meet Alice, our darling brown and white girl that has the most memorable face and sky high ears you have ever seen.   This girl was born around the middle of May and is thought to be combination of lots of breed influences.   For starters we think that Cattle Dog and Aussie might be a mixture that are dominant for her.  She is one smart little girl that adorable her foster family and all the other big dogs (several German Shepherds are her mentors and big sisters) and many foster cats are present as well in the home.  Her boundless happy puppy energy catapults her through the days as she grows in to a true beauty inside and out.  She is so playful and loving and always ready for the next BIG ADVENTURE!  She loves to chase toys and explore the backyard for new things to do and maybe a few squirrels to make friends with.  She absorbs whatever you teach her like a sponge.  Her foster mom is an excellent trainer and knows the importance of teaching manners and commands.  Her friendly nature makes her easy to meet new people and she is does not shy away from new experiences either.  She is a snuggler when she is tired and very loving as she sits beside you to watch a good TV show.  This girl will be an excellent recall pup since she is learning that now and is so eager to please and be with her humans.  If you are interested in this beauty who will grow to be a 45-50 pound girl, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   Let us know where you live: city and state when you are inquiring. Story
This most handsome boy is called million. DollarMax and he has meant the world to the man who found him in a rural county in tennessee.  This boy was found as a young pup and is currently ten months old and seventy one pounds and thought to be an Aussie/Collie mix. he has been a faithful companion to the wonderful couple that found him and have raised him to this. Young point in his life.  Now, the senior couple have found themselves facing stage 4 cancer, and the wife has alzheimer. Their 2 dogs must find a new home immediately. due to the rapid deterioration of the husband and his cancer.  These dogs have been loved and Max could not have been raised by better people.   Critter Cavalry  would love to offer Max to a wonderful family that can give him a fenced yard to run in and also love and guidance for the many, many years that lays ahead of him.  He is housebroken and he is dog friendly, but we don't know about being crate trained.   We are sure that could be done easily enough.  We are looking for a wonderful home that will embrace this 10 month old,  71 pound boy that has so much love and beauty to give a family. If you are interested in helping Million Dollar Max transition into a new forever life, please write to critter cavalry rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com.   Please mention the city and state you live in as Critter Cavalry is based in Tennessee, and we transport northward as well and adopt there also.  ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Story
Hi, everyone. My name is Special Stella, and I am a beloved, fun, well-trained 5 year old Yellow Lab/Aussie mix girl that is only 50 pounds and who is looking for a new home without young children.  I have been with my young couple, mom and dad.For the past four years, and I have been very happy and loved. And during that time, it was discovered that young energetic children made me nervous.   Now my mom and dad are having a baby and they say it would be best if I went to a home with no young young children and yeah, would be best.If I was the only dog unless I lived with a submissive male, that would not challenge me to be the top dog.   I have lived with a cat and my only bad habit is I love cat food. I am housebroken and crate, trained and leash trained, and I know commands. And I am a very good girl. That will be your buddy, rick riding around town and your suv or a pickup truck or going out on the lake in the boat for the summer months.  I'm really a good girl, but I just have 2 things that I probably do. Don't meet in my life and that is a dominant dog around me and young children. That are you being what god made them to be,  young, energetic and loud and sometimes a little too quick to make movements that make me nervous.   We are all heartbroken that I have to find a new home. Critter Cavalry promised my Dad, who originally adopted me just to be his buddy before he got married, that they would help me find the perfect place for me to live out the next ten years or more of my life.   I promise to be the best companion you've ever had.   Please consider me to come and live with you and watch TV. At your feet or go for hikes. In the woods or just take naps in the afternoon on a lazy Winter day.  I am fully vetted and microchipped and come with great dog manners and very few bad habits. Unless you have a cat and I try to eat their food.  Please consider me and write to Critter.Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com.  Tell them where you live: city and state.   They are based in Tennessee and not only adoot to Tennessee, but also transport to the Northeast.    ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Antioch, TN Meet Gussy! He is an 3 year old Australian Shepherd mix (the other breed is unknown) and weighs around 50 lbs. He is microchipped, but isn’t neutered, up to date on shots, or on heartworm prevention. Gussy is good with kids and most dogs! Gussy did have an incident where the neighbor’s pitbull came to the fence where Gussy was and they got into a fight. He hasn’t been tested around cats. He is housebroken, but isn’t crate-trained. The owner is surrendering him because they aren’t allowed to have a dog where they live. He needs to go ASAP! If you think you can provide a great home for Gussy, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $100 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Gussy. Owner’s Contact Information: Chad at dreysonisaiah22@gmail.com

Story
In Murfreesboro Irwin is a young Australian Shepherd mix who will quickly work his way into your heart. We don’t know what the mix is, but his foster parents guess he has a little Pyrenees in him based on his paw gestures, herding style and eyes. He’s about 3 years old (though could be younger, the vet could give a better estimate if Irwin would let them look at his teeth), and 54 lbs. Irwin’s origins are unknown, then he spent several months at a rural shelter and was up for euthanasia when ASF stepped in and saved his life! He is very timid at first and took several weeks at his foster home to relax and start to show his personality. This is a recurring theme with him, he needs time and space to adjust to new people, places and things. Slow introductions to people and dogs will help Irwin to be successful in the long run. He also does best with some initial boundaries, stick to the butt scratches until he knows you please! Irwin is a medium energy dog, he needs daily exercise but he’s not an overachiever. A few 15 minute play sessions or a couple miles on a walk and he’ll be good to go. Irwin’s like his foster dad, you better get all the walking in you want to do because once he gets back to the car he’s ready to go home and take a nap. Tennis balls produce much prancing around in excitement for you to throw them in the backyard; he loves a good game of fetch. Irwin can get over excited during backyard playtimes; this is manifested in jumping and nipping (at the same time). And let me tell you this boy can JUMP. A nip on your head is easy peasy for him! He’s working on more appropriate behaviors at his foster home, but will need continued training. It’s for this reason that children should be at least 12 years old. I know he won’t bite but even at a sturdy 33 years old it’s intimidating to see him run full speed across the yard and then jump! A fenced yard would be great but must be 6 feet, a 4 foot fence won’t hold this boy. Irwin’s most defining characteristic is that he’s a big ol’ love bug. He would like constant attention! If you’re not doing anything, you should be petting him. If you’re doing something, you should be petting him. He will use his paws to pull your hand to pets if not otherwise occupied or nudge you to remind you to keep rubbing his belly. He is never more than about 15 feet from his foster mom and loves to “go” if that means staying with his people. While he can stay home alone (in a crate or uncrated), he would do best if not left alone for too long daily. If you do leave him, he will need a commensurate amount of time devoted to loving on him when you return. Irwin would do fine as an only dog or with a canine companion, just keep in mind it will take him a while to warm up to his new dog pal. Irwin is working on curbing his jumping, but you should jump at the chance to meet this charming fellow! Currently fostered in Murfreesboro, TN. There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to his new furever family. Here is the application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application
