Story
Elijah is ready to find his forever home. Elijah is a 2 1/2 year old Australian Shepherd/Husky cross (best guess). He has the most beautiful blue eyes! He is being fostered in Soddy Daisy, TN. Elijah was found wandering a neighborhood in TN. A family took him in and kept him safe while they searched for an owner, which was never found. They wanted what was best for him and reached out to ASF. Upon coming into rescue, it was found that Elijah was heartworm positive. ASF jumped into action for his treatment plan and he completed treatment with no complications at all and he is now heartworm free! The ideal home for Elijah would be one where he can be a part of the family. He's a friendly and happy boy. It would be best to have a home without small children, just because of his size, he weighs right at 65 lbs. Older children would be fine. He gets along great with other dogs. No cats or livestock, as he is a little too interested and wants to chase them. A taller fence, such as a privacy fence or taller than the standard 4 ft fence is recommended. That's due to the husky in him and wanting to explore. He walks well on the leash so a fence isn't necessarily required if he has someone who is very active and would include him in daily activities on the leash, walks, hikes, outings, etc. Elijah is neutered up to date on all vaccines, on heartworm and flea/tick prevention and is microchipped. Elijah will make a wonderful companion and is ready to take on new adventures with his new person or family! A link to our adoption application can be found below. https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/old-adoption There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to his new furever family. All adoption fees are used for future rescue efforts.

Story
Obie Blue is a 9 year old Australian Shepherd born on January 12th. He is very energetic. He is house trained, plays good with other dogs his size, and has never chewed a piece of furniture. His favorite game is fetch with a ball. He could play it for hours. He also loves water and cuddling. We are looking for a home that offers him a yard to run and play in. He loves to be outside, but he sleeps inside.

Story
AUSSIE, very active, unbelievably smart. She’s 4 years old and weighs around 25 lbs Sissy needs to be in a home with an active lifestyle. Aussies are incredibly smart dogs that are motivated to learn & please you. If you don’t have experience with this breed, we highly recommend you do your research before applying. Australian Shepherds need to have a job and if they don’t, they will quickly assign themselves one. From Sissy's foster mom: Sissy is a high-energy dog who would thrive in a home with at least one other dog or a highly active owner who wants to walk her often. She loves going to the dog park and is very sociable. Having a fenced yard would be best since Sissy prefers to run around outside. She loves being brushed and loved on. She is house-broken and scratches at the door to go out. She is crate-trained and sleeps through the night. She is a very fun dog.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. Story
Chipper loves walking on leash. He is a happy boy, especially when he can make a new friend. He will love trips to the dog park as he enjoys playing with his foster brother. He is working on playing ball with humans. Chipper knows his name and "come" and is working on "sit" and "toy". He potties on leash as soon as he is taken outside and loves chew toys. He snuggles at night and sleeps through the night in his crate. Chipper will make a lovely pet for an active family or a single person looking for a companion. He is a smart cookie.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN.
