Story
Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Great Falls, SC Meet Nash! He is a 2-year-old Australian Shepherd and weighs 65 lbs. He is up to date on shots but isn’t neutered or on heartworm prevention. Nash is good with younger children! No older children or larger dogs, due to his reactivity! He is good with smaller dogs after they have a slow introduction! He is housebroken and crate trained. Nash nipped a guy on the arm in 2024 after he slammed the door and came towards the owner. When a human acts in an aggressive manner, Nash will bark, growl and get in their face. The owner is surrendering him because he had a seizure, and they are unable to afford his medical needs. He needs to go ASAP! If you think you can provide a great home for Nash, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Nash. Owner’s Contact Information: Hailey hailey110506@gmail.com

Story
Available for adoption in Greenville, SC : Meet Daisey!! She is an 8 month old Australian Shepherd (DOB: 05/24/24) who currently weighs around 34 lbs. Daisey is your typical young Aussie who is incredibly smart, highly active, and needs structure. With slow introductions and once comfortable Daisey loves hard with her people, loves playing with her foster siblings, and has a great off-switch with time for *snuggles* on the couch! Daisey came to us from a home without structure and who could not keep up with her activity level. Daisey has really opened-up between her initial temp foster and current foster home; eager to learn, please and test boundaries as many young herders. Daisey would benefit from a fur sibling who she can look up to and match her energy but isn’t afraid to properly correct her when she’s being too extra. Daisey has accepted correction well from her foster sister and accepts redirection from her foster humans. This girl is fast and has the most adorable, excited hops. Possible future agility or running partner!? Daisey is doing very well learning commands, learning that toys are good and fun to play with, and has picked up on fetch, bringing the ball about halfway back before she’s off to sniff something else. Her leash skills are improving, she’s super excited initially and pulls but then settles in nicely. She is a great passenger in the car. Daisey is fully potty, and crate trained, even prefers the crate for naps and as a safe space. Chewing has not been an issue with proper toys and bones available for use. Daisey would be best suited for a home who has Aussie experience due to some typical Aussie traits including: busy mind, being mouthy when excited outside, needs redirection, slow introductions, testing boundaries. Cats were okay in temp foster home with slow introductions, no cats in current foster home. Daisey loves her human foster brother very much who is 8 years old with herding dog experience and understanding of both herding and puppy redirection needs. Daisey’s Ideal Home: - experienced with herding dogs - an active home - committed home to work with further socialization, training/structure, and slow/proper introductions to both people and other dogs - a fenced in yard - a furry sibling (or two!) to learn from and burn that puppy energy - Kids 8+ If Daisey sounds perfect for you, please fill out our application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to her new furever family.
