Hey! Fancy running INTO you today :) My name is Marcus and I am a GORGEOUS, SMART, ACTIVE boy who was saved on my last minutes at the pound....and let me tell you why..... Because I am a soft and sensitive guy :) the SMARTER a dog is, the more SENSITIVE we are to stress and distress in unknown or overwhelming situations... So, I was shut down in the loud, never quiet pound environment :( However, in the last minutes before being taken back for euthanasia, a rescue foster met me and said, I WILL FOSTER!! AND THAT, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN.... SAVED MY LIFE! Well, now my life is all kinds of fun. I have foster brothers and sisters and a human brother. I also have a BUNCH of toys that I love to collect all around me! Just like the herding dog I am :) My foster mom loves me so much, but absolutely cautions to my new family that food (or even the possibility of food) sends me into a protection mode with my foster siblings (not my human sibling, but we will not adopt him into a home with small children- or as we call them, walking TREATS) and until he either gets trained out of it, or he get nutritionally stable, no food with any other dog around. I have the sweetest and silliest playful side too! Watch on my videos, I am a loving and playful boy who really just wants someone who will love and feed me for LIFE!! Saint is a 2 year old Labrador retriever/ Australian Shepherd mix who found himself in a Louisiana shelter after being seized from a cruelty case in November 2023. Set to be euthanized, ASF rescued him in the final hour. While Saint does not have the typical looks of an Aussie, he certainly shares the typical Aussie energy, herding instincts, and affectionate disposition. Also, the signature chilling blue eyes. Unfortunately, Saint also had heart worm disease. After several months of medical care and strict crate rest Saint is ready to find his forever home! Saint’s current foster family, located in Pittsburgh, Pa, adores him. He is super cuddly and loves to play with his foster brother. Saint is house trained, crate trained, and must be in a cat free home. Saint can’t wait to meet you! URGENT Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Springboro, PA Meet Butters! He is an 2 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs around 55 lbs. He isn’t neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots, or on heartworm prevention. Butters is fearful of strangers! No younger children, due to his reactivity! He hasn’t been tested around older children. He is good with cats, farm animals, and dogs! Butters is housebroken and crate-trained. He was originally found as a stray, but his owner was never found. The current owner is surrendering him because he resource guards her. She has a young child of her own and there are other young children that visit, so she doesn’t want them to get hurt. He needs to go by 10/13! If you think you can provide a great home for Butters, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions.
