Story
Hi everyone, I’m Samson! I’m a 23 week old, Aussie mix and super cute if I do say so myself! I love playing with the other dogs in my foster home. I just love everyone and everything, but I especially love my toys! I’m really good in my crate and potty trained. I can’t wait to find my forever family!  I do require an elder dog in the home.  I lack puppy/dog confidence.  When I am with an adult dog, I really feed off of his/her strength and confidence in the home. Another dog is really what I ask for on my wish lish.  ##2178646##

Story
Hello, my name is Irene and I’m a tiny terrorist. My foster mom has said she doesn’t negotiate with terrorists but that’s a joke, have you seen how cute I am? What’s my ideology you ask? Well, I have a strong faith in the fact that all toys need to be completely destroyed. I believe in showing my strength to all dogs bigger than me and once I confirm they’re not a threat, I’ll let them play with me. So what are we trying to negotiate? Potty training. I’m giving her some leeway, and going potty outside more and more but I’m demanding more treats! She thinks praise should be enough, but I say, ‘No Treats, No Potty!’ Maybe if you adopt me, you’ll be better than my foster mom, how hard could it be? I promise to snuggle with you, play with you, and walk on the leash, if you give in to my demands. So, will you negotiate with a tiny terrorist? Story
Meet Venus!   Venus is an adorable 8-week-old Aussie Mix with a red and white coat, weighing about 6 pounds. She’s full of energy and curiosity but loves to relax by soaking up the sun shining through the window. A clever and playful pup, Venus is known for sneaking her sister’s treats with a sneaky belly-crawl when no one’s watching. ##2268189##

Story
Cookie, is around 4 yrs old. Said to have been chained on the owner's property with no straw or anything in her doghouse for 3 months, a neighbor had been feeding her until she could be rescued and vetted. Her ears had been eaten by flies, but her happy face does not show signs of neglect. Fostered briefly, it appears that she gets along with dogs of all sizes, and doesn’t pay much attention to cats in the house, but she did however get a hold of a stray cat outside but fortunately did not hurt it. She is very food motivated and may need to be fed separately in a multi-dog household.

Story
Saint is a 2 year old Labrador retriever/ Australian Shepherd mix who found himself in a Louisiana shelter after being seized from a cruelty case in November 2023. Set to be euthanized, ASF rescued him in the final hour. While Saint does not have the typical looks of an Aussie, he certainly shares the typical Aussie energy, herding instincts, and affectionate disposition. Also, the signature chilling blue eyes. Unfortunately, Saint also had heart worm disease. After several months of medical care and strict crate rest Saint is ready to find his forever home! Saint’s current foster family, located in Pittsburgh, Pa, adores him. He is super cuddly and loves to play with his foster brother. Saint is house trained, crate trained, and must be in a cat free home. Saint can’t wait to meet you! If Saint sounds perfect for you, please fill out the application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to his new furever family. All adoption fees are used for future rescue efforts.

Story
Nebula, a truly beautiful dog. While her past holds some hardship – she was found living on the streets with her seven puppies – her spirit shines through. Nebula is a sweet and beautiful girl, possessing a gentle nature that will blossom with the right amount of patience and understanding. Nebula's intelligence is evident in her quick grasp of commands. She's already house-trained and crate-trained, demonstrating a willingness to learn and adapt. She enjoys walks immensely, exhibiting a calm and easy-going temperament. What Nebula truly desires is a loving home where she can finally feel safe and secure. While her street life has made her initially cautious around new people, once she builds trust, her playful puppy-like energy resurfaces. It's a beautiful transformation to witness. We believe Nebula would thrive in a quiet and patient home, ideally with someone experienced in working with dogs who have experienced trauma. With the right care, she'll become the most loyal and loving companion imaginable. If you're interested in learning more about Nebula and potentially offering her a loving forever home, please don't hesitate to contact us. $200 In State Adoption Fee (in Texas) $400 Out of State Fee (includes Transportation to your area) $50 Temporary fuel surcharge.
