Story
Daisy is going to be 3 years old Feb. 16th. She is updated on all her shots, she is due soon for her second round of Rabies. She is the sweetest dog around. She loves to snuggle, loves butt rubs and belly rubs. She is awesome with small kids. She is shy at first and likes to bark but once she warms up, you will receive kisses and love. As of right now, she has not been getting along with the other dogs she currently lives with. Her aggression has worsen a bit towards the other dogs. I think she just wants to relax and be left alone so she acts out a bit sometimes. But she is very sweet and she wiill be your best bud. She is not super hyper , she is kind of lazy right now lol so she will be your couch buddy too. I think she would do best in a home with just her as the only animal right now.

Story
Cocoa Ann is a 2-3 yr old 40 lb spayed female. She recently came from confiscation cruelty case. She and several other dogs were cages in abandoned trailer. She came with another female dog from the same case. An easy home would be one with mature people and no dogs. She loves to play with dogs but she is very jealous with any dogs that want to pay attention to her human she bonds with. She loves people and wants to be with them all the time. She is house trained. She does have separation anxiety. When left alone she needs a secure crate. Again I think Cocoa Ann will adjust with time and patience. 3 months is average transition for a normal dog. Cocoa Ann may be fine in that time frame but she has not been given a chance for that yet. If interested in meeting or adopting Cocoa Ann please text Casey at 570-441-0083.  We adopt to the general public but we also adopt to military veterans with adoption fee waived in order to provide our heroes with companion or emotional support dogs . Our other adoptable pets our posted on our website as well as the very brief application form. https://rescuepetsservingvets.org. ##1653502##

Story
Finnegan is a sweet boy - well behaved - yet, will be shy at first with new people, but not aggressively so. He always seems to enjoy children & other dogs. Finn has lived with cats in the past & was fine with them, although would not overly interact with them - except to sniff them briefly, as they might walk by. Unfortunately, he has had seizures in the past & now is given meds that have seemed to help greatly! Health concerns are not my reason for giving him up - 'it breaks my heart, to do so' - however, so many places to live at will not allow for pets/dogs especially. Finn has good energy for 10+ years - he's actually at a pretty perfect stage, right now, behavior wise. Even, his potty habits are great, really! Enjoys car rides & he gets around with no problems - and will interact with you, as you interact with him.

Story
Milo is a 6 year old neutered male Purebred Australian Shepherd. His coat color is red Merle, his eyes are bicolored blue/brown, and tail is docked. We adopted Milo approximately 7 months ago from a family who could no longer care for him. Milo’s previous owners were not forthcoming about Milo’s preexisting seizures. Milo had a seizure in the first month he was in our home. We were not told by Milo’s previous owners about his preexisting condition (per vet records). His seizures are controlled by daily medication and he has been seizure free for 6 months. Milo is neutered, microchipped, up to date on all vaccines, and receives monthly flea and tick prevention. He is house trained/ crate trained, follows basic commands and is ok with cats, dogs, older kids, and adults. We are asking to rehome Milo as he is not adapting to our home despite multiple attempts to acclimate. We do not have time to devote to his needs. The $100 adoption fee will be donated to an animal rescue org.

Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. 6/1/24 STILL AVAILABLE! 4/4/24 Timber is a beautiful mixed breed dog who was found along with 2 others, abandoned in a remote area of Arkansas. Timber is friendly and sweet natured. This website makes us pick a breed when we list dogs, I went with Aussie and Catahoula mix, but please know she is likely very mixed of several breeds and may not have any Aussie or Catahoula at all! We believe she is around 2 years old and she weighs about 45 lbs. Timber hasn't had the opportunity to be around kids but we can't imagine her not being great with them, with her loving, sweet personality. She is great with other dogs as well as cats! Timber did have heartworm when she came into rescue, but we have had her treated and she came thru the treatment with flying colors! Being as young as she is, and having no symptoms, we do not expect she will have any long term effects; she has fully recovered. She is house and Crate trained. Don't miss out on this beauty! Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations.
