Story
Heartworm Preventative: 13th of every month Flea and Tick: 13th of every month Yoshi likes women best. Yoshi is very leary of men, he needs several introductions to new men in his life to know he can trust them. Most women he meets he makes up with after a short time, some he likes immediately. He was treated roughly by a small child and father. He will not be adopted out to a family with children as that would not be fair to the children or Yoshi. Active and likes to play. Very smart. Loves attention from those that he trusts. He gets along with all of us here at Orphans even the men, but he needed time to get to know you. NEEDS AN ADOPTER WITH AUSSIE EXPERIENCE AND FENCED IN YARD. Bite History: Prior history to coming to us. 2 bites. 1. child, 2. neighbor. 10/15/2023 a Volunteer PA 1137

Story
Chloe is a beautiful 5-year-old Australian Shepherd/Hound mix who is excited to meet her new human companions! She is a very friendly, extroverted dog who loves to interact with people and receive loving human attention. She loves people so much that she also has some separation anxiety and does not like to be away from her best friends. Chloe is very energetic and strong on a leash and would definitely benefit from some consistent training and behavior work. She would also do best in a home without any cats. Do you think you can provide Chloe with a forever home? If so, please reach out and contact Four Footed Friends at (724) 349-1144 or dogmanager@fourfootedfriends.org. You can also visit https://www.fourfootedfriends.org/ for more information on our organization and other pets we have available for adoption. You are also welcome to come visit any of our dogs to see if they might be the right fit! Visits are done by appointment only. Story
Saint is a 2 year old Labrador retriever/ Australian Shepherd mix who found himself in a Louisiana shelter after being seized from a cruelty case in November 2023. Set to be euthanized, ASF rescued him in the final hour. While Saint does not have the typical looks of an Aussie, he certainly shares the typical Aussie energy, herding instincts, and affectionate disposition. Also, the signature chilling blue eyes. Unfortunately, Saint also had heart worm disease. After several months of medical care and strict crate rest Saint is ready to find his forever home! Saint’s current foster family, located in Pittsburgh, Pa, adores him. He is super cuddly and loves to play with his foster brother. Saint is house trained, crate trained, and must be in a cat free home. Saint can’t wait to meet you! If Saint sounds perfect for you, please fill out the application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to his new furever family. All adoption fees are used for future rescue efforts.

Story
URGENT Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Springboro, PA Meet Butters! He is an 2 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs around 55 lbs. He isn’t neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots, or on heartworm prevention. Butters is fearful of strangers! No younger children, due to his reactivity! He hasn’t been tested around older children. He is good with cats, farm animals, and dogs! Butters is housebroken and crate-trained. He was originally found as a stray, but his owner was never found. The current owner is surrendering him because he resource guards her. She has a young child of her own and there are other young children that visit, so she doesn’t want them to get hurt. He needs to go by 10/13! If you think you can provide a great home for Butters, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Butters. Owner’s Contact Information: Tonia at tonia@pinehollowvet.com

Story
Trixie came to us with a litter of puppies. All of her puppies were adopted. Trixie needs a home who could provide her with a lot of activities. She is a dog that needs to be kept engaged, ex: Agility classes, enrichment activites. She does have a small prey drive and can jump/climb any height of fencing. She is a very smart dog and would not do well in a home left long hours by herself. Would prefer a border collie experienced home.
