Yozuri and her sister Yamaha were found when their foster parents were on a walk. The sisters came trotting out of the woods where they had been living in a cardboard box. They were vetted and fostered and adopted to a home. Due to unforeseen circumstances that were not at all of her making, Yozuri finds herself back in the care of Save a Stray once again hoping for a forever home. Yozuri is just happy about life. She is housetrained and crate trained. She gets along with everyone, loves toys, and playing fetch. Yozuri is smart, comes when called, and gives attention easily. She is a playful girl but also loves to snuggle. She is a delight to have around. This girl deserves a home to treat her like a princess. This pet has been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, and is on heartworm and flea prevention and has adoption fee of $175 (local) - $500 (depending on transport destination). We also use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport. Story

We adopted Dash after her person died young and rapidly from a brain tumor. She was then fostered with other dogs, but was too excitable and her herding instincts made that situation impossible. We have had her for two years, and are unable to give her the attention she needs. She is very nervous and reacts to people and other dogs. She herds me by nipping at my feet if I leave the house, yet is not aggressive, just unable to be trained to not herd. She barks at all deliveries etc. She needs a home where she can get exercise and attention. She responds to her name and several commands, and is clearly intelligent. She is difficult because she is excitable and can loose control in situations, such as a person approaching, especially our house.

Hola, soy Dora! Dora is the sweetest girl you’ll ever meet! At just one year old, she has a ton of energy and loves meeting other dogs, but what she loves even more is snuggling with her people and hearing about what a good girl she is!! She’s not nearly as food motivated as she is motivated by praise and snuggles. She loves being handled, snuggled, and brushed - which is great because she’s 90% fluff! She’d do best in a calm house with no kids or older kids - young ones seem to scare her a bit. She would LOVE another dog to play with and learn from - she’s even taken over her foster brother’s dog bed because it smells so nice. (Not cat tested yet though!) It also seems like she hasn’t lived in a home before, so she’s still learning about house training and will need a dedicated forever home to help her understand.
