Story
Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Northampton, PA Meet Venom! He is an 3 year old Australian Shepherd mix (the other breed is unknown) and weighs 60 lbs. He is up to date on shots and on heartworm prevention, but isn’t neutered. Venom is nervous around strangers and will sometimes growl at first! He is good with kids! He hasn’t been tested around cats. He doesn’t live with other dogs, but is good with dogs outside of the home! He is housebroken and crate-trained. Venom bit the owner’s son twice. The first incident occurred after her son hit him on the head with a toy for second time after Venom growled at him for doing it the first time. The second incident occurred after her son placed a toy on his head. The owner has told her son not to do that, but he keeps rough housing with Venom. She is surrendering him because of the bite incidents. He needs to go ASAP! If you think you can provide a great home for Venom, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $100 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Venom. Owner’s Contact Information: Natasha at nlromanishan@gmail.com.

Story
Finnegan is a sweet boy - well behaved - yet, will be shy at first with new people, but not aggressively so. He always seems to enjoy children & other dogs. Finn has lived with cats in the past & was fine with them, although would not overly interact with them - except to sniff them briefly, as they might walk by. Unfortunately, he has had seizures in the past & now is given meds that have seemed to help greatly! Health concerns are not my reason for giving him up - 'it breaks my heart, to do so' - however, so many places to live at will not allow for pets/dogs especially. Finn has good energy for 10+ years - he's actually at a pretty perfect stage, right now, behavior wise. Even, his potty habits are great, really! Enjoys car rides & he gets around with no problems - and will interact with you, as you interact with him.

Story
Will you be my Valentine!!! Meet this beauty Dee Dee, she is a 3-year-old Mini Australian Sheppard who came from a commercial breeder. She is living her best life now and is looking for her forever home. All I want to do is cuddle but don't forget that I weigh 40 lbs. and not 10. I will follow you from room to room with the bathroom being no exception. I am doing Ok on the leash but do still need a little more practice. I love the fenced in yard and would prefer that if possible. I do go in the crate if I have to when my foster Mom goes to work for 4 hours a day 2 days a week or when she goes to the store to get treats but am not a big fan. I have a nice cozy bed that I sleep on at night right next to my foster Moms bed and I sleep well and all through the night. I am house trained and do go to the door when I need to go potty, (regression is normal in a new environment). I am well-behaved and love all visitors that come to the house. I get along with my foster sister who is a little dog but have not been around cats so not sure about them. I tend to get excited when I meet you and do jump up which is a work in progress. I haven’t been on many car rides but do get a little anxious and pant. I am looking for a loving family who will give me lots of attention and of course belly rubs. If you are looking for a loyal, affectionate and adorable new member of your family, I’m your girl. Dee Dee is spayed and microchipped and up to date on all her shots. She is also on flea, tick and heartworm medicine which must be continued at her new home. Dee is being fostered in York PA so approved applicants and their family and dogs will have to travel to York for a meet and greet before being approved for adoption. If you are interested in Dee Dee and think she would be a perfect fit for you and your family, please fill out an application for adoption on our website. www.zoeshouserescue.com Zoe’s House Inc. Story
Who else is dreaming of warmer weather and can't wait for Opening Day? These pups are ready to play ball and bring home the win, hoping to be adopted next weekend! Our best guess on breed is Lab/Aussie mix. There could be Husky? But Husky personality has not shown through. They are 8 weeks old and they will ONLY be available for adoption at our event on 2/1 (see bottom of post) These pups are super social, sweet, and quick learners. They will likely be moderately to mucho active as adults, so for now we are saying no to apartments and giving preferences to larger land/fences or very active lifestyles. In your application please indicate this and give details. Each pup is will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, have 2 parvo/distemper vaccines, bordatella vaccine, and be UTD on monthly preventatives. Health concern: This litter has VERY sensitive paw pads. The slightest amount of water on newspaper in their pen and their paws bleed. They can NOT walk on salt and pee pads / towels should be used if crated. How to apply: Our event will be at Pooles Island Brewing Company on Saturday February 1st from 12-4. You can send us an application for a specific puppy and we will hold them for you from 12-1. If more than one person apply for a puppy we will email you to see if you want someone else. The entire family MUST attend the adoption, and after 1 pm they are available to other families. If you do not know who you'd like to adopt you can place the application and say "for event" however we cannot guarantee anyone is available and pups with holds cannot be adopted until after 1. Send us the application from www.puppiesareworthsaving.com and makensure you answer your email ASAP to get put on the list for Saturday. PS- No eye color was altered in using AI background.
