Story
Mojo is a truly special dog—gentle, sweet, and incredibly kind-hearted. At 13 years old, he’s been a loyal and loving companion, always calm, well-mannered, and full of quiet affection. He has brought so much joy over the years and deserves a home where he can continue to feel cherished every single day. With our busy lives, we haven’t been able to give him the time and attention he truly deserves. As an Aussie, he thrives on regular walks, a bit of grooming, and, most of all, lots of love and companionship. Mojo would make a wonderful addition to just about any home—whether it’s a family, a couple, or someone simply looking for a devoted best friend. He has so much love left to give, and he’s ready to share it with someone who can give him the care and attention he deserves.

Story
Freckles across his nose, a little black “Batman mask,” happy tippy-taps when he’s excited, and a heart that clearly wants to belong… this is Holliday. Equal parts goofy charm and affectionate shadow, Holliday is the kind of dog who leans all the way into love. His biggest dream? A couch, a person, and permission to pretend he’s a lap dog. Want to see those adorable tippy taps and that little masked face in action? Head over to YouTube and then come right back to learn more about the boy who believes every good day should include affection, snacks, and a welcoming lap to climb into. https://youtu.be/lPFbycVn8XA Holliday is estimated to be about 2 years old and appears to be a Border Collie mix but given he is a rescue, breed and birthday cannot be guaranteed. From the moment you meet him, Holliday’s affectionate nature is easy to see. He absolutely lights up when people give him attention and has a charming little habit of doing “tippy taps” with his feet when he’s happy or excited. It’s the kind of happy motion that makes everyone around him smile whether they are meeting for the first time or its a familiar connection. And inside its only sweeter, he is affectionate and his aspirations for lap-dog life really shine. Holliday is more than happy to make the first move and will come in close to soak up the love and lean in for a new nestling nose kisses. He is still learning some of the everyday things that come with the cozy life as a family dog. For example, couches were a new concept to him. When invited up, he wasn’t quite sure how to get there at first and needed a little boost. Moments like that tell us he’s likely still discovering what a comfortable home life looks like. The good news is that he’s eager to connect with people, smart and very responsive to guidance, which makes him a wonderful boy to open your heart and home to. On leash, Holliday is enthusiastic and currently pulls a bit, especially when he sees other dogs he’d like to meet. Much of his life before rescue life was spent on a very short leash outdoors so the world is understandably very exciting to him right now. With a confident understanding handler he has been making great progress with continued leash training. He is also very responsive to direction, correction, and listens well when told “no.” With other dogs, Holliday shows friendly curiosity. When meeting dogs he likes to sniff hello and then wander off to explore the yard. Play is still a bit of a mystery to him, but with the right dog companion we have seen he learns quickly and is easily invited to play even if she doesn’t know the steps after that. When meeting new dogs he reads them well and respects boundaries and limits easily. We can see him being a wonderful fit for a home with medium-energy, similarly sized dogs. Holliday is also very food motivated, which is wonderful for training. He eats enthusiastically and takes treats gently. Because Holliday can be a little jumpy, which he is working on, when he’s excited to receive affection, we think he’ll do best in a home with older kids who won’t be knocked over by his enthusiastic greetings. His affection truly comes from a joyful place and is gentle, not rough or heavy footed. He just hasn’t quite learned yet that hugs don’t always have to involve all four feet leaving the ground, but some people do enjoy those big, warm dog hugs. A home with a yard would be ideal for Holliday while he continues building his leash skills, giving him space to stretch his legs and explore safely. With time, guidance, and a loving environment, we think this freckled little masked hero is going to blossom into a wonderful, lap-loving, whole-new-world companion and sidekick. If you’re looking for a dog who will greet you with tippy taps, shower you with affection, and happily grow alongside you as he learns what family life is all about, Holliday is your guy! Story
This cutie is Brandy. She is currently 4 months old and weighs approximately 19lbs. We think they may be a border collie/ Australian shepherd mix, but with rescue it’s a guess! What matters most is that they are adorable and are one the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from us, it saves their life as well as the life of another in its place. Watch Brandy’s playful personality here: https://youtu.be/eONmEGF4N5w?si=SnjARUCoETxUljRa Brandy is playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly. She loves to play with her siblings and take lots of naps. Eat, sleep, play, repeat- such is puppy life! We pride ourselves in being able to give you good personality and behavioral information to help ensure this baby is the right fit for you. You are also welcome to do a Facetime call to meet your new baby before signing paperwork! Brandy is still very young and will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Story
Small, sparkly, happy, and just the right amount of spunky… this is Sprout. She is a little burst of joy in a compact, pointy-eared package, equal parts adorable sidekick and tiny entertainer. Go watch Sprout the Tiny Dancing Queen on YouTube, then come right back, because this petite performer has more to share than just her dance moves. https://youtu.be/wYdQrT86Bi8?si=2xflgH4w67RRbXO3 Sprout is estimated to be around 2 years old and weighs 26 lbs. As for breed, your guess is as good as ours, but we’re leaning toward a “Kelpie fox” situation… not scientifically confirmed, but spiritually accurate. What is confirmed? She’s fully house and crate trained, people-loving, and very ready to be someone’s little shadow and reliable source of daily smiles. Let’s talk about her party trick, because it deserves its moment. Sprout is very treat motivated and will happily perform the cutest little circus-style dance when snacks are involved. It’s less “sit for a treat” and more “joyful performance.” It’s cute and we have a sneaking suspicion she knows it. In her foster home, she’s been an easy and lovely addition. She’s affectionate, social, and enjoys being around her people. She brings a light, happy energy into the room without demanding the spotlight. It is very charming. With other dogs, Sprout is sweet and thoughtful. She can feel a bit intimidated by bigger, high-energy dogs at first, especially in new environments, but she handles it gently and gains confidence with a little time and reassurance. Once she realizes everyone is friendly, she warms up beautifully. She would especially love a home with a dog her size or smaller, or a calm, respectful companion who will let her settle in at her own pace. She also met a cat and was honestly adorable about it. Her approach was respectfully curiosity, followed by playful politeness. She even offered a few little play bows like she was genuinely trying to introduce herself. With proper introductions, she shows all the signs of being able to live happily with a feline friend. Sprout is overall a soft, happy, people-loving girl who just needs a moment to feel safe in new situations but then her personality blooms in the sweetest way. Think of her like her name… she just needs a little sunshine and time, and suddenly she’s thriving. If you’re looking for a small dog with a big personality, a playful spirit, and a happy heart…Sprout is ready and waiting to grow right into your life. Apply today and welcome home your new favorite little performer. Questions? Email Kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org Ready to apply?
