Story
Biscuit is a special dog, yearning for her perfect home! She’s fostered by her former owners sister. If you’re a single guy or gal, or a couple looking for a dog to baby, she’s your match! She’s a great hiking/walking companion, and is always up for adventure. She’d work best in a detached home setting, with a fenced yard. Ideally you have a nice park or two nearby for long walks. Bonus points if you work from home or have a flexible schedule to take her on her morning/afternoon walks. Here are her own words: I’m crate-trained, but honestly, I’d love to snuggle at your feet! I love to play with stuffed squeaky toys, and tug-of-war! I’m longing for someone who can spoil me! I’ll repay you in snuggles! I’m super SMART! I take to training very well! I’ve been getting better with my leash reactivity, and I do ok with recall. Let’s do more training together! I can get along with other dogs, but I’d likely do better being the only dog in a home! I want my food/treats to myself!

Story
Australian Shepherd + Labrador Retriever + German Shepherd Mix 10 months old Male 35 pounds Kids · 10+ Dogs · Yes Cats · No I don’t want to seem like a show-off or anything, but I am pretty sweet, and friendly, and affectionate with people... unless I am on leash! Goodness do I need help with my leash manners, I can pretty grumpy meeting new people and dogs on leash. I won’t mind sharing my home with kids 10+, or other dogs. I mean, they are all so much fun to play with! But I’m not to sure how to be friends with a kitty. I could run and wrestle and romp all day! I’m a pretty happy boy with a great attitude and a curious demeanor. I’ve got the brains to excel at arithmetic, but who am I kidding…I just can’t wait for recess! I’m super smart, playful, eager to please, and longing to be loved; so a family that is committed to working on continued training, giving me lots of guidance and structure is exactly what I need. I am teenager who is rebelling a little bit and need someone to help rein it in! Why not come in and meet me? I want so badly to show off what a cute fella I am! My adoption fee is $200 and includes microchip & registration, neuter, reduced-cost training class, free veterinary exam, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

Story
We got Mori from a friend of a friend down on the California coast near Half Moon Bay. She was only 8 weeks old and such a cutie! Being the runt of the litter she was the last one of her siblings that found a home with us. Now she is 7months old and looking for a home that can manage her high energy! She loves playing fetch, going on walks or and has been great playing with our little kids. Mori has been having some play dates with some dogs in our neighborhood and have found a few good friends. Unfortunately Mori won't have a home in a couple months. We would love for her to find a loving, comfortable home before we have to sell our home and move on. Over time Mori has chewed away at our hearts and it pains us all that we cant find a way to keep her in our family. Mori is energetic, playful, loving, and protective around strangers (which we loved with our little kids), she can be vocal when she is hungry, bored or needs to go outside to relieve herself.

Story
Miley Cyrus lived as a mother dog who was used for breeding. She was roaming the streets when she asked the right people for help. Eager to please, Miley has completed dog training at the head of her class. As a result of her past experiences, she is mistrusting of men and loud noises. She is not aggressive, but rather simply prefers to be alone. If you are kind and gentle, and have the patience to earn her trust, Miley Cyrus might be your girl. Story
Meet Bob Tail Bear! He is an adorable 10 -12-week-old puppy, and we think he may be an Australian Shepherd / Lab mix; his cute little nub tail gives him some Aussie Character! Watch Bob Tail's video here: https://youtube.com/shorts/5qAQLi6PATk?si=MrHsdHAMO1F1eR7U Bob Tail Bear is playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly. He loves to play and then take lots of naps. Eat, sleep, play, repeat - such is puppy life! He loves to play with toys and the bigger dogs in his foster home. He even tries to play with the cranky cat! Bob Tail Bear is still young, so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization, and all the dedication puppyhood requires. His new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect for going on walks and hikes or showing off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/675b435ebb4a8292f308c868 Please email michelleboswell@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. Finn is searching for a special person who is calm, patient and committed to positive reinforcement training. He would do best in a house with a large yard with space from neighbors and is used to his human working from home..
