Story
I’m crate-trained, but honestly, I’d love to snuggle at your feet in bed! I love being active, and I need someone who can keep up. I love to play with stuffed squeaky toys, and tug-of-war, and I LOVE balls that squeak! I’ve dealt with loss in my short life (not because I’m a bad dog; human lives can be sad and complicated!), so I’m longing for someone in it for the long haul. I’m extremely SMART! I’m yearning to learn more tricks; I know how to sit, stay, and lay, and I love playing fetch and Find It! I need some additional training on leash reactivity and a little more help to firm up my recall, but I know a great trainer who knows me and would love to know you! When I see an attractive force (ex, a squirrel) I get so excited that I start to bark, and I need further help with leave commands. I suggest I suggest high-value treats to aid in training. I get along with other dogs, but I’m best being the only pet in the house. I’m protective over food, toys, and affection!

Story
Cocoa is a eight month old very sweet, happy go lucky 45 pound dog. She is very energetic and benefits from daily walks. She knows commands like sit, down, off, stay, wait, leave it. Crate trained. Great in the car. She does pull on the leash but a gentle lead helps tremendously. She has taken training classes, been to dog parks, camping, river trips and doggie daycare. She wants to say hi to everyone and every dog, so she needs reminders when out and about to settle. She can hold her potty through the night which is so great, but during the day she drinks more water, so she needs out regularly about every few hours to go potty. She is still a puppy. My schedule is changing soon, and she needs someone home with her to accommodate her needs. She is a great dog that needs a home that can provide love and patience.

Story
Australian Shepherd + Labrador Retriever + German Shepherd Mix 10 months old Male 35 pounds Kids · 10+ Dogs · Yes Cats · No I don’t want to seem like a show-off or anything, but I am pretty sweet, and friendly, and affectionate with people... unless I am on leash! Goodness do I need help with my leash manners, I can pretty grumpy meeting new people and dogs on leash. I won’t mind sharing my home with kids 10+, or other dogs. I mean, they are all so much fun to play with! But I’m not to sure how to be friends with a kitty. I could run and wrestle and romp all day! I’m a pretty happy boy with a great attitude and a curious demeanor. I’ve got the brains to excel at arithmetic, but who am I kidding…I just can’t wait for recess! I’m super smart, playful, eager to please, and longing to be loved; so a family that is committed to working on continued training, giving me lots of guidance and structure is exactly what I need. I am teenager who is rebelling a little bit and need someone to help rein it in! Why not come in and meet me? I want so badly to show off what a cute fella I am! My adoption fee is $200 and includes microchip & registration, neuter, reduced-cost training class, free veterinary exam, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

Story
Miley Cyrus lived as a mother dog who was used for breeding. She was roaming the streets when she asked the right people for help. Eager to please, Miley has completed dog training at the head of her class. As a result of her past experiences, she is mistrusting of men and loud noises. She is not aggressive, but rather simply prefers to be alone. If you are kind and gentle, and have the patience to earn her trust, Miley Cyrus might be your girl. Story
This cutie is Mikey Mayo. He is currently 4 pounds, 2 months old, and we think they may be an Australian Shepherd mix, but with rescue it’s a guess! What matters most is that they are adorable and are one the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves his/her life as well as the life of another in its place. Fall in love here: https://youtu.be/V22raTjRGrE?feature=shared Mikey Mayo is playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly. He loves to play with his siblings and take lots of naps. No toy is too big for this little man. Eat, sleep, play, repeat- such is puppy life! Mikey is still young so they will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. His new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/66e7b14d495030169705e30a Please email tim@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $900.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.

Story
This beautiful and polite lady is named Fiona. Fiona is looking for a family, and would do well in a hectic home with kids, a peaceful apartment with a first time dog owner, or anything in between. She’s a true comfort dog, a wonderfully versatile girl that enjoys her time in nature and has great house manners. She’s cat tolerant too, she’s the complete package and she’s available for adoption! We think Fiona is an Australian Cattle Dog, Shepherd, Husky mix of some sort, with her gorgeous silvery blue coat and her tall stand-up ears. We estimate her age to be around 4 years old. She currently weighs in at a soft and snuggly 53 lbs. Watch Fiona here: https://youtu.be/DQ_ihW5lU2Y?si=Z0MlLniHhBHngUEN Fiona is currently fostered in a home with a hyperactive pug, who she tolerates beautifully, and two kitties that she almost completely ignores. Here at the rescue, Fiona was cat tested and we believe her to be cat tolerant. See her cat test for yourself in her video. Fiona is wonderful with other dogs, but doesn’t ask for too much canine engagement or play. We think she would do best in a home with an aloof male, that won’t engage her too much, to keep her company. She could also thrive as a solo dog, soaking up all of your affection for herself. Fiona is great on leash and takes direction well. She’s also great at completely settling outdoors, just watching the world pass her by. She’s wonderful in the car and loads and unloads on her own. All of these factors, together, make her a wonderful candidate for a camping companion. She’s not overly energetic, but loves her walks, and could likely be convinced to go on a hike with you too! Fiona’s foster mom walks her almost every day in her neighborhood, and Fiona often interacts with children on these walks. Her foster mom reports that she’s a gentle and sweet angel with all of the children she meets. Fiona is affectionate and loves belly rubs and full body hugs! She’s treat motivated, and takes treats gently. She does well in her crate, though her foster mom does trust her to free roam in the house! She very much sees her crate as her “safe space” and will retreat to her crate when she feels overwhelmed by her doggy foster brother. Fiona is just such a polite and well mannered girl, looking for forever love. We are willing to test Fiona with anything you need us to in order to ensure she’s the perfect match for you! We can make most anything happen! Just let us know. Please email kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. ADOPTION APPLICATION: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/67042fe9339efbc41f037de9 We facilitate adoptions across the US through our own internal transport to ensure the quality of care. We travel to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT and Canada (Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA or Brattleboro, VT for the eastern Canadian border)! Our pups travel in comfort with 24/7 care on our USDA licensed vehicles, including buses and cargo vans. You can join along on our private Facebook event page to follow their adventure, connecting you with other adopters and providing updates throughout their transport journey! You will get to meet your new pup over a video call before signing paperwork, creating a fun and personalized adoption experience! The adoption fee is 825.00 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectible, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship! We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success. Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option.
