Story
Biscuit is a special dog, yearning for her perfect home! She’s fostered by her former owners sister. If you’re a single guy or gal, or a couple looking for a dog to baby, she’s your match! She’s a great hiking/walking companion, and is always up for adventure. She’d work best in a detached home setting, with a fenced yard. Ideally you have a nice park or two nearby for long walks. Bonus points if you work from home or have a flexible schedule to take her on her morning/afternoon walks. Here are her own words: I’m crate-trained, but honestly, I’d love to snuggle at your feet! I love to play with stuffed squeaky toys, and tug-of-war! I’m longing for someone who can spoil me! I’ll repay you in snuggles! I’m super SMART! I take to training very well! I’ve been getting better with my leash reactivity, and I do ok with recall. Let’s do more training together! I can get along with other dogs, but I’d likely do better being the only dog in a home! I want my food/treats to myself!

Story
We got Mori from a friend of a friend down on the California coast near Half Moon Bay. She was only 8 weeks old and such a cutie! Being the runt of the litter she was the last one of her siblings that found a home with us. Now she is 7months old and looking for a home that can manage her high energy! She loves playing fetch, going on walks or and has been great playing with our little kids. Mori has been having some play dates with some dogs in our neighborhood and have found a few good friends. Unfortunately Mori won't have a home in a couple months. We would love for her to find a loving, comfortable home before we have to sell our home and move on. Over time Mori has chewed away at our hearts and it pains us all that we cant find a way to keep her in our family. Mori is energetic, playful, loving, and protective around strangers (which we loved with our little kids), she can be vocal when she is hungry, bored or needs to go outside to relieve herself.

Story
Australian Shepherd + Labrador Retriever + German Shepherd Mix 10 months old Male 35 pounds Kids · 10+ Dogs · Yes Cats · No I don’t want to seem like a show-off or anything, but I am pretty sweet, and friendly, and affectionate with people... unless I am on leash! Goodness do I need help with my leash manners, I can pretty grumpy meeting new people and dogs on leash. I won’t mind sharing my home with kids 10+, or other dogs. I mean, they are all so much fun to play with! But I’m not to sure how to be friends with a kitty. I could run and wrestle and romp all day! I’m a pretty happy boy with a great attitude and a curious demeanor. I’ve got the brains to excel at arithmetic, but who am I kidding…I just can’t wait for recess! I’m super smart, playful, eager to please, and longing to be loved; so a family that is committed to working on continued training, giving me lots of guidance and structure is exactly what I need. I am teenager who is rebelling a little bit and need someone to help rein it in! Why not come in and meet me? I want so badly to show off what a cute fella I am! My adoption fee is $200 and includes microchip & registration, neuter, reduced-cost training class, free veterinary exam, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

Story
Miley Cyrus lived as a mother dog who was used for breeding. She was roaming the streets when she asked the right people for help. Eager to please, Miley has completed dog training at the head of her class. As a result of her past experiences, she is mistrusting of men and loud noises. She is not aggressive, but rather simply prefers to be alone. If you are kind and gentle, and have the patience to earn her trust, Miley Cyrus might be your girl. Story
Tucker is the sweetest boy in the world. Luckily, he’s on the market- looking for forever love. He has the softest coat, the dreamiest eyes and an affinity for making his humans laugh. We believe that Tucker is an Australian Shepherd, Lab mix. He has the swooshy tail and soft coat of an Aussie, with slightly shorter fur and a silly personality that makes us lean toward “Lab mix.” We estimate his age to be around 3 years old, and he weighs in around 50 pounds. Tucker is a rescue, so his exact age and breed are unknown to us and cannot be guaranteed. Fall in love with Tucker here: https://youtu.be/2jgb3I5yMcQ?si=8tfHlt52aYxjiIxn Tucker has been fostered in a home with other dogs, and foster parents that love him deeply. Through their care, and their notes, we know that he’s great with men, women, and other dogs. He likes to snuggle with his foster parents, gives gentle licks, and they report that he’s potty-trained, crate-trained and good in the car. Tucker’s foster mom says that she loves him because “he’s funny, he’s silly.” He likes belly rubs and chest scratches, he has a sweet little smile and loves to do goofy things to make his humans laugh. He’ll hide behind the curtain, zoom around the backyard, or make a funny face. He’s very, very affectionate with his humans, but not overly pushy about it. With other dogs, Tucker is just as affectionate. You can find Tucker curled up on the couch in a snuggle with his foster siblings more often than not. Tucker shares toys well with his foster siblings, and likes to play chase with them. When he meets a new dog, he can be a bit shy at first, but he warms up very quickly and will initiate play. He’s done well with dogs as small as thirty pounds, and lives with puppies. We think Tucker would do best in a home with other dogs to keep him company. Here at the rescue, Tucker was cat-tested, and we believe him to be cat-tolerant. He could live with dog-savvy kitties. Tucker loves his toys too, especially squeaky toys. He loves treats, and takes them gently. His kindly asks that you stock up on jerky in anticipation of his arrival. Tucker is ready to be your best friend (and your dog’s best friend!) Tucker could live with other dogs, and/or dog-savvy kitties. He’s a perfect match for any animal-lover looking to be adored. We are willing to test Tucker with anything you need us to in order to ensure he’s the perfect match for you! We can make most anything happen! Just let us know. We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success. Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: ● Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family ● Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test ● 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion ● A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions ● 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription ● Coupons for a fun visit to Petco ● 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions ● Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer ● Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission! His favorite thing is to play fetch. He absolutely loves to learn new things and train. He enjoys putting his brain to work for mealtime with various puzzles and snuffle mats. Finn has challenges on walks with regards to reactivity towards people and dogs and will require continued training. He will also need his adopter to continue working on noise desensitization to triggers. Finn is on behavior modification medications and these will need to be continued for him to thrive. He would do best in a house with a large yard with space from neighbors and is used to his human working from home..
