Peanut will be 2 in April. He is crate trained and potty trained. He loves playing outside. He doesnt get along with some dogs,he likes to herd them into spaces. Hes very shy at first and a little scared when meeting new people but warms up to them on his own time. Hes not great in cars(nervous) but put him in a crate and hes fine. We need to rehome because he doesnt get along with our elderly dog. He does well on a leash, he would do well with lots of walks and a fenced in backyard. He’s a bit of a scaredy-cat when it comes to new things.

Westin is a rescue and is very protective of his family, likely suited for a family with a male so he doesn’t think he’s the alpha. We have tried a couple different training programs and while he is a smart pup we have not had the time to keep up with regular training due to our schedule. He is high energy and loves his walks. He gets along wonderfully with our older golden but will randomly nip at other dogs and visitors.

PEDICO FEMALE 24 LBS 2 YRS Pedico made her way to rescue after her owner passed away. We do not have any background on her - age and breed are estimates. She loves to play with her foster dog siblings and ignores the house cats. Crate trained - working on establishing a routine/housebreaking. This animal is up to date on all shots, dewormed, and spayed/neutered. They have been heartworm tested (negative) and on prevention. Bonnie is a 2 year old Aussie shepherd/sheltie mix female. She is only 25 pounds and does not mind being an only dog. She is dog selective but prefers males and will play non stop. She is up to date on all vaccines, microchipped and spayed and ready to go to her new home. She jumps up a lot. Working on the jumping but part of that is her young energy. She loves to kiss people and likes sitting outside when it is sunny. This is one girl that loves belly rubs. To adopt Bonnie, please do our non-obligatory application at www.pawsandprayers.org so we can see if you are a good match. She is a bit of an escape artist. Her adoption fee is $350. Any questions, please email marty@pawsandprayers.org. She was positive for Anaplasma Phagocytophilum and Lyme tick disease so we will gave her medication for 30 days. She will need to have bloodwork done again in another 6 months to see if she needs any antibiotic again. It is cheap (around $10 for 30 pills) and is a small pill. Hopefully it is cleared up now.
