Luna is 11 months old and 35 lbs. She is an Australian Shepherd pup looking for a new loving home. If you’re familiar with Aussies, you’ll know this is a high-energy breed that needs attention. With proper training and care, you’ll be rewarded with an extremely intelligent and loyal companion. Luna loves playing with her foster siblings and sleeps peacefully in her crate at night (no accidents either!). She’s working on housetraining with her foster and is acclimating nicely. She would do well in a home where she’ll have plenty of space to roam and other dog-friends to play with. Luna is an intelligent and loving pup that just wants to share her affection with the right new family! She was listed for free on facebook and the they lived in a 1 bedroom apartment and keep her in a crate for long periods. Freds Mission Rescue has an adoption radius of 100 miles from Cincinnati. All dogs are fully vetted, altered, current on flea/tick/heartworm/wormer, and microchipped. The rescue does not adopt out to properties with invisible fences or tie outs. Story
Jet is a miniature Australian shepherd (mom is a mini Aussie, dad is a standard Aussie). He will be 3 years old on Valentine’s Day. He is neutered, has had basic obedience training, is house trained and crate trained and is up to date on vaccinations. Since having a baby, he has become aggressive with our other male dog which is the only reason we are rehoming him. He is a smart and loyal dog and we would love for him to go to great home with preferably no other dogs or children. He has never bitten anyone but has barked at children in the past. Jet is an amazing dog on his own!

My name is Amos, and I'm a mini Australian Shepherd from a large breeding facility. Now that I am in rescue, I am learning how to be a happy, normal dog! I'm attentive and sweet-natured and enjoy hanging out with my people. I am great with dogs who are bigger than me, but am still working on not being a bully with smaller dogs. I'm learning that my crate is a safe space and not a prison, and I'm doing well with house training - I really like having a doggie door so I can go outside whenever I want! I love toys and running around outside, and I think I really like this "pet" thing. My foster parents are helping me learn what being a house dog is all about - I'm still figuring out what's OK and what's not, but overall I think I'm getting the hang of things.
