Story
Kasey is what we would consider petite.  She is likely an Australian Shepherd mix---and we are uncertain what the exact mix is.  Kasey is 21lbs and most likely will not get any bigger.  She walks ok on leash, loves attention, is mildly playful and enjoys some toys.  She will need basic obedience training and likely housetrained.  She does have accidents in her kennel area when we are not here to allow her out.  She reacts fine to other dogs but will need to meet any new potential housemate prior to adoption being approved. We do not know how she is with cats or children (she met a cat briefly at the vet when we were there and was curious but not forceful). Meet Zachariah!! He came in as a stray on 1/23/25 with his sister, Zillah. We think he is about a year old. It is hard to tell from the pictures, but he is a big guy! He is sweet and friendly and he has lots of energy. When he is wound up, he can play bite, so a home without small children would be best. Zachariah was tested with cats and did fine with cats but was interested in them. He did not show any signs of aggression. Zachariah is neutered, heartworm/lyme negative and has his rabies vaccination. He is available for adoption so hurry in to meet him! Zachariah is located at the Richland County Dog Shelter in Mansfield, OH Phone is 419-774-5892 It is an application process. You can request one via dogs@richlandcountyoh.gov

She has lots of energy, but she didn't seem to know what toys were all about. She loves treats and attention and affection.
