ADOPTION PENDING…..Poor Oakley has had a whole lot of bad luck in his life. He was found as a stray, but not before being hit by a car. He ended up with a fractured femur. He was picked up by Animal control and sat in a Cell for a while before being put on the euthanasia list. We couldn’t stand to see this handsome, young guy lose his life without ever knowing how wonderful life and even humans could be, so we tagged him and brought him to Ohio to have surgery on his leg. Sadly, the first orthopedic surgeon we saw Said the break was so severe, added with the amount of time that had passed since the accident, we would need to amputate. We decided to seek a second opinion and this time the doctor believed he could fix it. So we went forward with the surgery.
