Story
Name: Teddy Gender: Male Age: 8 months-1 year (about) Current Weight: 34lbs Expected Adult Size: Medium (25-50lbs) Breed: Australian Shepherd Mix Energy Level: Medium-high Dog Friendly: Yes, and can have other dogs in the home or can be an only dog Cat Friendly: Unknown Kid Friendly: Unknown Apartment Friendly: No Physical Fence Requirement: Physical fence preferred but not required with regular walks/exercise Crate Trained: Yes Potty Trained: Yes Ideal Home/Adopter: Teddy is the happiest boy. Teddy loves to be with his people and play with dogs. Teddy would love an active home. He does great in a crate during the day while his foster parents are at work, but as he is still young, he has a lot of energy to get out in the evenings. He would love an active home with another playful dog or a yard to run around in. While this is not mandatory for him, if he is the only dog or does not have a fenced in yard, please be aware he will need ways to get out some of his energy. Teddy is very smart and is learning quickly. He is still young and would need an adopter that is willing to continue with typical dog and manners training for young pups. Likes: Teddy would ask that you have lots of toys for him to play with. Squeaky, fluffy, treat toys, treat puzzles, rawhides, he does not discriminate as he loves them all! He also enjoys playing fetch, going on walks, playing with dogs, playing with people and snow! Oh does he love snow! Dislikes: We have not found anything he dislikes yet. He can be a little timid at first with new sounds, people and dogs but he warms up very quickly. Additional Considerations: Teddy was found as a stray in West Virginia. He was taken to a shelter where volunteers reached out to RO for rescue! He was a shelter favorite and we sure can see why. Teddy is the perfect package! He is a perfect mix of playful, goofy puppy but also mostly house, crate and potty trained. He is the sweetest pup who loves all people and dogs. He literally smiles in his sleep. What makes this dog special: Teddy sleeps in silly positions with a smile on his face. He loves to steal things that smell like you so if your shoes, gloves, hats or socks go missing-go check his favorite spot (most likely on a couch or big fluffy blanket!) Teddy also has the most beautiful unique coloring! It is hard to see in pictures but he is brindle with the softest floofy fur coat. His eyes also stare deep into your soul, and you will give him that treat if you look into his eyes. Teddy's adoption fee is $350. All fees include spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, worming, flea and heartworm current. All dogs over 6 months of age have been tested and are heartworm negative. If you are interested in adopting, apply at rescuedohio.org to become an approved adopter and a meet & greet can be set up once approved. ##2276294##

Story
In Johnstown - Hello future family! My name is Rosie and I would be so grateful to have a loving family accept me and make me part of their family! I had a not so great past, I was used to breed lots of puppies in a puppy mill. They weren’t mean to me, but they never got me out of my pen, they never petted me, or played with me. I just had more puppies. It took me a while to figure out that humans can be really nice and can pet me and play with me and that I like it. I’m still shy at first and a little skittish, but l warm up with time, patience, and love. I’m sweet and gentle when I interact with my humans. I like other dogs and kids too. I’m not sure how I feel about cats, I’ve never been around them. I love being outdoors… all those smells… and more smells. I just want to find my very own family. One who will love me, and pet me, and play with me. My family will need to be patient with me, I’m still learning to trust, but I promise that if you give me a chance, I will be the goodest girl and give you all of my love in return. I am spayed (no more puppies for me), UTD on all my vaccines, microchipped, and on HW and flea prevention. I just turned 3 years old (my DOB is 12/01/2021). My foster mom has sent some pictures along to show you what a beautiful girl I am. I am currently living with my foster mom in Johnstown, OH. If you think you could make me a part of your family, please fill out an application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application

Story
Murphy came in with his brother Mack. Both are sweet, loving, mid- to high-energy boys. Murphy started out more independent than his brother and still probably is a bit, but he also seeks out attention from time to time and can be very affectionate. Murphy looks more like pure Aussie than his brother, but he may still be mixed. We'd love Murphy and Mack to be adopted together. They are bonded and thrive in each other's company and the company of other dogs. A physically fenced yard is required. Murphy is available for adoption in Ohio to residents of Ohio. Story
Mack came in with his brother Murphy. Both are sweet, loving, mid- to high-energy boys. Mack has been just about the sweetest boy ever from moment one—extremely affectionate and just loves giving you big Mack hugs. He loves when you let him be a Velcro dog, but don’t get the wrong idea—when you need your own space, he is very good about not being pushy about it. Mack’s brother Murphy looks more like pure Aussie, but we’re pretty sure that’s Mack’s mix as well. We'd love Mack and Murphy to be adopted together.
