Meet Jack! Jack is a fun-loving, friendly, playful little guy. He is about 8 months old, and has a ton of puppy energy. Jack is a great companion, and will thrive in an active, social setting. We go to the Voice of America dog park every day, where Jack gets to meet up and play with his friends. He has never displayed aggressive or anti-social behavior (humping, nipping), which goes for humans and canine friends. He has come a long way in terms of nutrition, and needs a whole lot of love and attention to make sure he continues to develop into a happy, healthy little dog. Jack is very smart, he learned to sit and lay down consistently in just a morning. We are still working on recall, as he comes consistently at the dog park, but gets distracted in wooded environments when we go hiking. The reason I am rehoming Jack is because I do not have time to properly care for him. He has a ton of energy, and will do best in a home with a yard, where he can run to his heart’s content.

Luna is 11 months old and 35 lbs. She is an Australian Shepherd pup looking for a new loving home. If you’re familiar with Aussies, you’ll know this is a high-energy breed that needs attention. With proper training and care, you’ll be rewarded with an extremely intelligent and loyal companion. Luna loves playing with her foster siblings and sleeps peacefully in her crate at night (no accidents either!). She’s working on housetraining with her foster and is acclimating nicely. She would do well in a home where she’ll have plenty of space to roam and other dog-friends to play with. Luna is an intelligent and loving pup that just wants to share her affection with the right new family! She was listed for free on facebook and the they lived in a 1 bedroom apartment and keep her in a crate for long periods. Freds Mission Rescue has an adoption radius of 100 miles from Cincinnati. All dogs are fully vetted, altered, current on flea/tick/heartworm/wormer, and microchipped. The rescue does not adopt out to properties with invisible fences or tie outs. Meet Theodore Xavier (Theo). Theo weighs in at about 50 pounds and is between 3-4 years old. He is your typical family loving Aussie. He adores kids and loves being near his person; always willing to cuddle. Theo is crate and potty trained. He enjoys taking walks, chasing squirrels around the yard or relaxing with a nice chew toy. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information.
