Story
From the foster: I am sharing my current fosters in hopes of finding them their new future forever home 💕 we were originally told that Lightning (brown/white) who is blind, was bonded to brother Brownie and used him for support, but we quickly realized that is not the case. They are Australian Shepherd/Lab mix pups about 10 months old. Lightning seems to have more of the Australian Shepherd genes=super smart, and even though he is blind, he is very outgoing, and curious, he is the dominant sibling. Brownie got the Lab genes=goofy, friendly, playful. Brownie is definitely the submissive of the pair.I believe to see both these dogs thrive, they would be better off finding separate homes, Brownie would do well in most any home with a little bit of training (he’s still an excitable pup) Lightning would excel as an only dog, he is very intelligent and with some consistent training I can only imagine what an amazing companion he would be but if he were to go home where there are other dogs, he needs a canine sibling that understands he has no boundaries. He is a bit of a bull in a China shop, likes to get right up in another Dog’s face in order to get to know them and very often runs into the other dogs. They are great in the car, love to ride, seem to be potty trained, love to play, both great snugglers and very gentle demeanors.
