Hi, my name is Jake and I was rescued with my sister Bambi who is also looking for her forever home! I'm 8 months old and weigh 42 pounds. I'll probably be 50 pounds when I'm full grown so I'm a perfect medium sized pooch. I'm a very sweet and quiet guy who can be a little shy when you first meet me but I warm up quickly. I'm friends with everyone I meet and other dogs too. I have a really short tail so I'm probably an Aussie mix but I'm not a 'herder' like the breed can sometimes be. She was rescued with her brother, Jake and they're relaxing and learning how to enjoy the quiet moments in life. She has a small tail so we think she's an Aussie mix but she's not a 'herder' like that breed can sometimes be. This sweet gentle girl has the most beautiful amber eyes and is great with everyone and enjoys playing with other pups. She'd blossom with an adopter who will give her love, kindness and patience. Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- West Islip, NY Allie is an 17 week old Australian Shepherd/Blue Heeler mix and weighs between 15-18 lbs. She is microchipped and up to date on shots, but isn’t spayed or on heartworm prevention. Allie is good with kids and farm animals! She hasn’t been tested around cats or other dogs, but is good with the other dogs inside of the home. She is crate-trained, but isn’t housebroken. The owner rescued them from a puppy mill in Ohio and can’t provide what she needs. She needs to find her furever home as soon as possible! If you think you can provide a great home for Allie, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $100 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. My name is Mako in Corinth, NY. I am 2 yrs old and here’s my Christmas wish list. - A home with lots of snuggles, treatos and toys. - My person to love me forever - A fenced yard I can play in. I love being outside. - Another dog friend to keep me company would be great. Although I am okay as a single dog too. A little more about me.. I’m a double Merle Australian shepherd. I’m a smaller guy at almost 40 pounds and I am partially blind. It does not hold me back though. I navigate new areas well, I just may occasionally bump into things that I can’t see in my peripheral. Oops it happens. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I am currently living with a foster doggy brother and sister who are bigger than me. I love playing with them. My foster parents also have a cat. I like her too. I lived with a cat and a smaller dog in my previous home. I can get a little grumbly towards the other dogs over bones. My foster mom just redirects me and then I’m back to being a good boy. I used a crate in my previous home but I’m also a good boy when left home alone outside of the crate. I have a crate available for comfort in my foster home but I haven’t needed it. Nobody’s perfect so I do have some basic skills I could work on like down and stay. I’m a master at sit though. 🤓 I won’t lie, I could use some help with walking on a leash too. I just get so excited! I am skittish around loud noises so I’d probably be most comfortable in a home with older kiddos. I’m a friendly guy and have loved everyone I’ve met so far!
