Story
Meet Peace, this pretty black tri girl would be a great addition to an active family. She was born on 2/15/21. She weighs approximately 60 pounds so could shed a few to reach her ideal weight. She is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations as well as being on heart worm medication. Peace knows sit, down, shake, and is partially trained in stay and come. She is house trained Her owner reports that she usually does well with other dogs, but would be better suited to share a home with a male dog. She is not acquainted with cats. Her owner reports that she is loyal, sweet, incredibly athletic and the smartest animal she has ever met. Peace is not crate trained and may jump on people when greeting. She is looking for a new home due to the owner’s long work hours. Peace is located in Saugerties, NY. A physical fence is required. To apply to adopt Peace please complete an adoption application. They can be found at www.aussierescue.org. Peace is on referral for ARPH and only those with an approved application will be put in contact with the owner.

Story
Meet me at PawSafe, 348 Old Colony Rd, Eastford CT Meet Captain, a charming 2-year-old Spaniel mix with a knack for winning hearts, especially the ladies - both human and canine. He likes to know the men in his life well and becomes their besties in a few days but remains aloof until then. This social butterfly loves making friends, knows how to sit and shake with both paws, and probably has more tricks up his sleeve. He's great with other dogs and loves a good cuddle. Besides his dashing looks, Captain is fully vetted, neutered, and ready to embark on a new adventure with his best friend. But don't take our word for it - read what his foster family has to say about him: "Captain has been the best house guest ever. He is House trained, listens, sits and gives paw on command! He is SOoo easy going and absolutely amazing with Maddie (my dog) and my kids. My house is definitely chaotic and crazy (lots of noise and kids running around nonstop) and this sweet boy just rolls with it all! He is truly amazing and someone will be soooo lucky to have this him!" Sorry we cannot adopt to MA residents.

Story
Meet me at 348 Old Colony Rd. Eastford, CT Meet Darla! This sweet, demure, petite girl is stunning! She is a little timid in the loud kennel, but once she is outside she is soaking up all the love and attention she can from you! Darla is a great size, 28lbs and is around 8 months old, so we don't expect her to get much bigger! Darla is spayed, microchipped and medically up to date, all she needs now is a home to call her own! Sorry we cannot adopt to MA residents.

Story
*Name: Mumbles *Age: 3 years old *Current Weight: 40 pounds *Rescued from: TN *Adoption fee: waived (a wonderful donor has sponsored Mumbles adoption fee)  *Health: Up to date on vaccines, Neutered, & microchipped *Adoption requirements: Adopter must be 25 or older, Mumbles needs to be the only dog in the home.  Meet Mumbles! Mumbles is a 3 year old cattle dog mix. He is such a affectionate pup but does require an owner who understands the needs of his breed (heeler/cattle dog). Mumbles is still very much a puppy and is VERY active, he can jump high so we do require applicants to have a fully fenced in yard. Mumbles is very unsure of other dogs, so he would do best in a home where he could get all the love and attention. Mumbles LOVES his humans, loves to play and would love a home to cuddle up by your side after a nice run in the yard. He does great with kids, responds to recall, and listens to commands. Mumbles is very obedient and eager to please his humans. Mumbles is located at our adoption center in Brewster NY!  Maybe you can give him a home to call his own?! To apply to adopt, fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/ FAQs -- PLEASE READ ALL BEFORE EMAILING All adoption fees are non-refundable If paying by credit card, Venmo, or PayPal there is a set processing fee, generally this fee is under $15 per pet. These processing fees are determined by the form of payment adopters decide to use. By helping with this minimal cost this allows us to save more animals. Please note that SNARR NE is a volunteer-based organization. While our volunteers will try to respond to you as quickly as possible, it is helpful if you review the below information about our adoption process before emailing: LISTED BREED(S) & AGE: We are taking our best guess on age, breed, and size when fully grown, based on the puppy's/dog's physical appearance and what we might have learned about one or both parents depending on the situation. *NOTE* We rarely know a dog's exact age, nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. Because we often do not have access to medical records at the time that we are listing for dogs for adoption, there are sometimes discrepancies between what is posted on their profile and what might be listed on a dog's medical records. SNARR'S ADOPTION PROCESS: The first step in adopting or meeting a SNARR dog/puppy is to fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/. Once we receive your application, one of our adoption application processors will contact you, review our adoption process with you, and answer any additional questions you may have. **We do not go on a first-come-first-serve basis for adoptions, but on best fit for a family and most importantly the puppy or dog. ** MEETING ADOPTABLE DOGS: Meet and greets will not be scheduled until after your adoption application has been fully processed and approved by one of our adoption processors. APPLYING ONLINE: If you fill out an online application, please do so from a computer (not a mobile device), make sure you answer ALL the questions in as much detail as possible, and that you receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive a confirmation email, that means we did NOT receive your application. ##1094415##
