Meeka is a beautiful Lab/Australian Shepherd mix, and she brought nine of us into the world, each with our own unique look. Some of us have long legs, while others are low riders with long bodies and short legs. Our coats come in all different colors and textures, making us a truly one-of-a-kind litter! Submit application to meet dog if interested - yes an application is required******** Meet Butterball! This handsome Australian Shepherd is about 1 year old and weighs in at 60 pounds. Don't let his size fool you- he thinks he makes a wonderful lap dog and finds his favorite activity to be couch snuggles. He has that young dog energy, but is also just as agreeable to lay and relax with you. He does love his toys, playing fetch, and chewing on antlers. He is great with other dogs, and is very sweet with his smaller foster siblings. He has been around small children and does well, but be aware he is a very animated door greeter! Butterball is house trained, crate trained, and even knows several commands like "sit" and "paw"- treats help here! He also makes a great neighborhood patrol dog as he loves to alert you if something is going on outside. His foster family cannot say enough wonderful things about Butterball, and he is really excited to find his forever family! All our dogs have been treated with de-wormer; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 months or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchipped; and examined by veterinarian plus given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption. Dogs will be spayed/neutered thru us prior to finalizing any adoption. We provide information on dogs age and breed based on what we are told by person surrendering dog or vet's best guess. While we try our best we cannot guarantee that this information is 100% accurate and can often be best guess in case of our lovable mutts.
