Story
Meet Taffy! This gorgeous Shepherd mix girl is a lover. She came to us from the reservation with 9 puppies - Yikes! She did a great job keeping them all healthy and growing but as you can guess, 9 puppies can be difficult for momma's to keep up with. Her puppies, although still young, are now eating solid food and growing like weeds! They will be available soon! Taffy is now ready to go into a home and become their bestest doggo! She is great on a leash now (although she didn't know what leash meant when she first went to the foster home) and looks forward to her multiple daily walks with the foster's husband. She is very food oriented so training should be somewhat simple, but just make sure that all food and treats are put away after use, she has a great nose! Taffy is up to date on vaccines, has been spayed, and also microchipped. This pretty girl is available for a low adoption fee of $150. If interested in Taffy, please fill out the adoption form that you will find in the top page links on the TRACS homepage (pet-tracs.com) and an adoption specialist will reach out by text to confirm receipt and discuss next steps.

Story
Palmer is one of 5 Australian shepherds that we just brought in from a Texas rescue group that helped them to escape a high kill shelter in their area. They are all beautiful and long haired aussies and they are all looking for a patient and understanding family to become part of. Palmer is about 3 years old according to the shelter that sent them and neutered them for us. He is a beautiful merle color and is about 44 pounds, one of the bigger siblings. They were not in a good situation and as a result, they have not been leash trained and are working on that skill here at our shelter. They are potty trained in that they do use their doggy door to go outside to do their business. They are fully vaccinated and will be micro-chipped and are neutered too. So no more medical care needed til next year. Just love and affection for sure. These kids do great with other dogs and we believe will be fine with cats too. Please fill out an application from our website at TRACS and we will get back to you by text to get you up here to meet these beauties. Adoption fee is $200.

Story
Looking for a furry friend who's bursting with energy and ready for adventure? Look no further than Flash! This handsome 40 pound bundle of joy is the perfect mix of playful and cuddly. Zooming around the yard, chasing after his beloved balls makes him happy. When he's not on a playdate with his toys, he's a big fan of outdoor romps and will gladly accompany you on your adventures.Despite his boundless energy, Flash knows when it's time to wind down, especially after a good outdoor play session. He does like to act as a watch dog. He's a pro at settling down in the evenings, content and ready for some well-deserved cuddles. He is comfy in a crate at night. This lovable pup has a heart of gold and is great with everyone, including kids and cats! While he's eager to make new friends, Flash also understands boundaries and respects the word "no," making him a gentle companion for furry feline pals. He and his brother Fritz go to doggy daycare and love to play with other dogs. While Flash may be a bit of a picky eater and occasionally deals with a sensitive stomach, a little extra care with his diet ensures he's feeling his best. And don't worry if he needs some time to recover from a tummy upset – once he's back to his bubbly self, he'll be chowing down on his favorite treats in no time!Flash is ready to learn and would benefit from some additional training to polish his skills. While he already knows how to sit for a treat and has a pretty good recall, a bit more practice will help him become the perfect pup companion.Flash is being rehomed with his brother Fritz, due to a location change for the family, not due to the dogs. We would like the brothers to be able to stay together since they are bonded and get reassurance from each other. Both are currently being fostered with their family in Missoula. Flash is a fun-loving, energetic, go-with-the-flow companion, while Fritz is a more laid back, cuddly sort of guy. If you're ready to open your heart and home to a dynamic duo, consider welcoming both Fritz and Flash into your family. With their unconditional love and loyal companionship, they're sure to bring endless joy to your life! Both are neutered, and current on vaccinations.

Story
Eric made her way up to us from San Antonio via a van ride. He is now about 10 months old and is looking for a human to call his own! Eric has more traditional shepherd markings but is on the smaller side so he might have some Australian Shepherd too that makes him smaller (currently about 40 pounds). He is very sweet and has taken to leash walks without issue! He has settled in and has done well with accepting new roommates without issue! Eric has been brought up to date with vaccinations, has been neutered and will come with a microchip. His adoption fee is $100. If interested in Eric, please fill out an adoption application (link found on the TRACS homepage) and an adoptions specialist will be in contact with you to discuss.
