Julian , is a sweet dog. However the organization he was adopted from the foster family hindered his development at birth. They kept him with his mother and she was food aggressive to her pups. Therefore he is food protective, not aggressive per say. He also was not allowed outside the first 90 days of his life. As a result he has anxiety especially when things change like the weather or conditions. He is overly protective of my wife. He needs a true alpha of a dog owner to make sure it is established who the pack leader is. He doesn't chew up furniture or stuff. He listens well. He is house trained. He will make an experienced dog owner very happy!

This is a very good dog with high energy! He needs to be in a home with a yard and a lot of exercise. He loves to play with toys and play ball. He loves to play tug of war. He was a crate dog when I took him and hes doing well, but I still put him in the crate when I leave the house. He hasn’t chewed anything up except toys as puppies always do. He does pretty good on a leash. He’s learning to listen well he is just very hyper. He will be 1 year old in December, just needs a good loving home 😀 He sits, shakes paw and I have a bell hanging on door he rings to go outside! He’s learning to love more and more every day! He is neutered, up to date on shots, heart worm tested negative and on heart worm preventative, he is also microchipped!

URGENT Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Romulus, MI Meet Zeke! He is an 4 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 55 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention. Zeke is good with farm animals and other dogs! No children or cats, due to his reactivity! Zeke bit the owner’s neighbor on the hand in 2021 after they tried to let him out. He recently bit the owner after walking into the house to take his son to the car. Zeke bit the owner’s wife while she was trying to lock him in a room. He also bit the owner’s father-in-law on the hand while he was going after the cat. He is on 100mg twice a day for his anxiety. The owner is surrendering him because he is jealous of their young son. He needs to go by 12/31! If you think you can provide a great home for Zeke, please contact the owner listed below. Yozuri and her sister Yamaha were found when their foster parents were on a walk. The sisters came trotting out of the woods where they had been living in a cardboard box. They were vetted and fostered and adopted to a home. Due to unforeseen circumstances that were not at all of her making, Yozuri finds herself back in the care of Save a Stray once again hoping for a forever home. Yozuri is just happy about life. She is housetrained and crate trained. She gets along with everyone, loves toys, and playing fetch. Yozuri is smart, comes when called, and gives attention easily. She is a playful girl but also loves to snuggle. She is a delight to have around. This girl deserves a home to treat her like a princess. I got Lando through a pet store. I’m going to speculate that he’s a puppy mill product. Lando is just under 2 years old. He’s an absolute love bug once you get to know him. He loves to play and cuddle. Unfortunately, he was not very well socialized with humans and I didn’t realize how uncomfortable he was around them until he became quite reactive around people. We live in an apartment complex, and maneuvering Lando away from people has become quite difficult. I had hoped that my financial circumstances would change and that I would be able to afford the training that he needs, however that doesn’t appear to be likely in the near future. I don’t have the time or the resources to give him what he needs. Lando needs someone who has experience with reactive dogs. He is more prone to be alright around humans if there are other dogs present and very near by. He may do better in a household with another dog. He has been going to daycare since he was a puppy. Good with dogs.

Bruno is almost 3 years old and weighs only 45lbs. He is a poodle border collie mix. He is available for adoption with his brother Bruno. He is looking for a new furever home. As of recently, he has gone through a lot with his brother, Rio. His owner was forced to surrender the both of them to the shelter due to having to move out of the country with his family. They were not able to bring their most prized possessions with them. His owner had only one request, to keep them together and not have them separated. They are the best of friends and need each other's backs to thrive in life, so they are a bonded pair. They do absolutely everything together. Bruno is dog friendly and kid friendly with all ages. He has lived with a baby before! He is the more playful one of the pair. His favorite hobby is to play fetch. He loves tennis balls and can play fetch all day. He would love a yard to play his favorite game in, but would love a home even better. Bruno is currently living in a foster home with Rio. They will not be able to do walk in appointments and will need to have an appointment scheduled for a meet n greet.Thank you for showing an interest in our pets.
