Story
Dobby is just over 10 years old, our work schedule has become extremely busy. And we’re just not having enough time to spend with him. He is extremely attached to me,his dad. So I’m looking for a loving and caring home that can give him lots of attention. He has been well taken care of his whole life, he is due for shots currently. He is always been up-to-date prior. He is high energy, and only about 9 pounds. Does well on road trips, and is good with kids.

Story
Meet Shep, our handsome 7 month old, intact, mini Australian Shepherd/American Shepherd mix. He is energetic, loving, & eager to please. We got him from friends who couldn't keep him due to an unexpected life change. Sadly, our 11 year old English Shepherd doesn't get along with other dogs or Shep. We are looking for an experienced Shepherd home, who can continue his training & provide him a job. The ideal home would be a couple w/o young kids and with well trained dogs. He LOVES to help in the yard & long walks. He has basic commands down although puppy brain gets in the way at times. Great in the house, & crate trained. Currently, he does not meet new people well. We are working on this with him. Have some victories with this & some fails. He growls then quickly starts barking & then jumps up & will nip. Seems if the stranger has a good treat to share he is most receptive & the meeting goes much better. Can definitely be trained out of this. Any question feel free to ask.

Story
Murdy is a fun and active 7 month old puppy with akc papers who deserves a fun and active home. We picked him from the breeders at 8 weeks old and has been well loved and cared for. Unfortunately his owner has had some unexpected medical concerns come up that make them unable to give him the exercise and training he deserves. He's a smart boy and eager to learn. We have done some basic training like sit, stay, etc. and is very food motivated. He loves to play with balls and chew toys and loves his walks outside. He is mostly potty trained but full disclosure he still seems determined to pee inside once a night. He is crate trained and sleeps through the night.Heres his Instagram with some of his training he's had so far. https://www.instagram.com/murdock_madnesss?igsh=MWl0bXY3ZDhoYThiNg==

Story
Isa's person worked midnights, so Isa didn't get out much. Also Isa's person is deaf and felt unsure of taking Isa out in the world, without the ability to be fully aware of her environment. So Isa is thrilled to be out this past week, walking around outside in the natural world with other dogs. Isa has been with her person since she was a puppy, but her person is taking a job out of the country. Isa is 4 years old, 11/25/2021. Isa's personality is gentle, sweet, a little on the shy side. She does okay riding in the car and knows basic commands. She has been trained on an eCollar so has the capacity to be off leash. Isa will thrive in a home where she is the only dog. She's smart and eager to please. She does have a sensitive tummy and cannot have lots of treats, she gets about 4 Milk Bone treats/day.

She will bark when someone comes to the door and she sees things in the yard. She is housebroken and knows some basic commands. Susie is not good with cats. She is an active dog but calms down in the house. Susie would love a fenced in yard to play in. She will bark at things she sees when outside in the yard. She would not be good in an apartment. If you are interested in Susie fill out an application. HDDCR requires a spay/neuter contract by the adopter if puppies and kittens in our care are too young for sterilization. This is a form the adopter signs at the time of adoption, confirming that they will get the pet spayed/neutered by a certain date. We will hold a $50 deposit on top of the adoption fee until we receive proof from a veterinarian that the dog was spayed/neutered. The $50 deposit will then be returned to the adopter.&#226&#128&#139 Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a    $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee    to change information.   Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost. Story
Charlie is a 9 year old purebred Australian Shepherd. He would be best suited in a home without any small children. Ideally, I would love him to go to a farm or a home with a big yard, but he would be just as happy in any home. He’s a very happy dog and very smart.
