Story
Milo is a high energy 5.5-year-old, half Austrian Shepard, half English Shepard. I received him from a breeder off a farm near Elizabethtown, KY when he was an 8-week-old puppy. He has lived most of his life in the city, however my parents have a farm that he visits frequently. Milo loves to run around the farm and explore. He has always been a very smart dog, he would learn tricks quickly, but he will push the boundaries of the trick/command. Milo has had some problems with aggression in the past. Generally, Milo is friendly with humans, just give him time to greet you, but other dogs tend to make him defensive, specifically large male dogs. Usually, if he has time to slowly meet another dog and get used to the dog, he is very playful with them. Milo has tons of energy and would be a great dog for lots of exercise, I have walked with him and run with him before on the leash, but he does pull some. The ideal home for Milo would be lots of land, or at least somewhere with a large yard.

He is full of life and personality, would be great for an active home. He likes to howl and give attitude when he’s feeling sassy. He love to do tricks like; give paw and other ( both paws) sit, lay, stay. We play hide and seek sometimes in the house, he also likes to chase play. Great with my cat, always roughhouse together whenever possible. Loves going to parks and long walks. He settles down pretty quick when it comes to strangers and new people

Story
Sky is a beautiful loving girl, she's very calm, she's very happy, and very lovable. She has a lot of anxiety, she gets scared easily, not sure how she is with other dogs but she's great with cats. She hasn't really been around children but when she does see them outside she gets nervous. She is a cuddly love bug. She listens extremely well, you can take her without a leash and she won't leave your side. She's very loyal. She is an affectionate, fun, and amazing dog and sadly unfortunately with having a baby and living in an apartment I'm not able to keep her. She also has some allergies with her food, that I've been trying to figure out so she has some issues with her skin she gets itchy because of her allergies. So I would want someone who would be able to take care of her and make sure she gets the care she needs. Unfortunately I'm not able to do that with becoming a new mother. I just want her to go to a good home, with good people who are going to take very good care of her.

Story
Peppa is about 5 yrs old she was about 8weeks old when I got her from a man on a facebook group-free to good home. He said that he bought her for his sister but her landlord wound not allow her to have a puppy. She is an Australian Shepherd/Lab. She is pretty small about 40 lbs. She has lots of energy and shes very protective of her area. I have 2 children including a 1yr old that is now walking and peppa is very aggressive with her and pushes her down alot. My son is 7 and peppa jumps on him alot. We have a privacy fence and our neighbor has chickens, Peppa will run back and forth on that fence line all day long. She needs to be on a farm w/ room to run and a job to help her mind to settle some. She gets bored and tears things up. The kids cant even play in the back yard because peppa is so wild and energetic she has tore up every thing in the yard. She sleeps inside in the kennel as she is too rowdy inside and would tear all the kids stuff up. Shes not bad just needs more room to run

SHERLOCK is a 1.5-year-old male, catahoula/cattle dog mix but that's just the start! If you want to take a guess at the "mix" piece? Whatever you guess, you'll be right as there are no less than 17 in this happy little body! He is full grown and weighs 45 pounds, He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and preventative. SHERLOCK is very outgoing, and good with other young dogs that match his energy level. Sherlock's perfect family should be active. A fenced in yard is necessary so he can receive the proper amount of exercise. Sherlock requires a home with kids over 12yrs of age due to his energy level and zest for life. Sherlock would do best in a home without cats. IMPORTANT: Please Keep in mind both the age and life expectancy of Sherlock. Our guiding principle for adoptions is to seek the right fit for our rescues and the families, including a home that can stay committed to the animal for life. If interested in adopting SHERLOCK, our process begins with submission of our online application which can be found at www.adoptmebluegrasspetrescue.com. Additional FAQ's can be found here also. Meets will be set with approved applicants. Thank you!

Story
Meet Ringo: A Gentle Soul in Need of a Home Two months ago, Ringo wandered up to our fence line, tired and hungry but full of quiet kindness. He is an adult dog, likely around five or six years old, with a sweet and gentle temperament. Ringo adores people, gets along well with other dogs, and has a calm, loving presence that makes him the perfect companion. Ringo has some old injuries to his ears, leaving them cauliflowered on both sides. While they do not seem to bother him, they give him a rugged charm that only adds to his character. He is in seemingly good health otherwise, with a sturdy build and a soft coat. He just waiting for someone to scratch behind his ears. The only quirk we have noticed is that he has mild food aggression, but only towards other dogs. With people, he is nothing but gentle. He just prefers to eat in peace without sharing his bowl. He will need an immediate vet visit upon adoption.
