Story
*This dog doesn’t belong to ASF and hasn’t been evaluated by ASF.* Meet Cooper! He is an 8-year-old Miniature American Shepherd and weighs around 20 lbs. He is neutered and up to date on shots (he is allergic to the rabies and DHPP vaccines) but isn’t on heartworm prevention. Cooper is nervous around strangers! He hasn’t been tested around younger children. He is good with older children and cats. He is good with the other dogs inside of the home but is nervous around dogs outside of the home! He isn’t housebroken or crate trained. The owner is surrendering him because her other dog doesn’t get along with him. He needs to go ASAP! If you think you can provide a great home for Cooper, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Cooper. Owner’s Contact Information: Jessica jessicakaylett@yahoo.com

Story
Posy found us at 4 months old. She wandered into our yard. We found her owners, who decided they had too much on their plate to have a new puppy. We adopted her into our home, even though we had 3 other dogs at the time. I am her person, but unfortunately this leads to jealousy issues. This is now the main reason for our rehoming. She has become aggressive towards our Great Pyrenees. But only her. We also have a German Shepherd, and a Chiweenie. We have also tried working with her for the last 3 years (she is 3 yrs old) on not killing our chickens, ducks, and rabbits. She’ll be ok for a little while then play with one to death. On the flip side, I believe she would be a great fit if taught to hunt, or heard. She loves the outdoors, although she is an inside/outside dog. She is crate trained, and will ring bell on door knob to go outside. She is also a sweet snuggle bunny who thinks she is a lap dog! Good on leash, but pulls to meet ppl and get pets on the heady.

Story
Django is a 6-year-old Sheepdog Aussiedoodle who weighs about 35 pounds and is hypoallergenic. He is a sweet, affectionate boy who loves to cuddle and truly enjoys spending time with his people. Playful, loving, and loyal, Django has a gentle presence and would make a wonderful companion for the right home. Django will do best in an adult-only home, or in a home without young children, and he is not recommended for homes with other pets. He exhibits resource guarding, so must be given space during mealtimes. Django is resistant to crate training, and does much better when gated in a room in the house (we keep him in the kitchen when out of the house). He is also an anxious guy, and is currently prescribed Rectify to help with that. With those factors understood and accounted for in the right environment, Django has so much love to give and is ready to be a devoted companion to someone special.

Story
Bear loves everyone be it adults, children, or other dogs. He is house trained and has even had additional training in the past to work on "place, sit, crate, etc". We've never had an issue with Bear and he is extremely sweet. Unfortunately, we have multiple kids (three of which are under age five) and both work full time jobs so we don't spend enough time at home with him. He is typically alone because we are either both at work or attending events for kids. We don't want Bear to be deprived of human attention and unfortunately, we aren't able to give him much attention at this time. We are hoping to find a home for Bear where he gets plenty of attention. Having another dog buddy to play with would be a bonus but not expected. Bear lives his best life anytime we spend time with family that also has dogs. He loves to play but also has an off-switch and can calm down when there isn't a lot of stimulation around him.
