Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Fill out an Online Adoption Application!   Jena is a complete dollbaby. Weighing in just under 40, she is the prefect size for most people. She is so excited to be with humans and inside a house. Sadly this is her third time looking for her forever home, and we absolutely are looking for it to be the last. Jena knows some basic commands, is potty trained, and rides perfect in a car. She would be great for a person that travels a lot. Are told that Jenna is an Australian shepherd poodle mix, and that is certainly possible. If our future family did a DNA test, we would love to see the results but to it really doesn’t matter what breed she is. What matters is that Jena is a fantastic dog who will make a great friend to her new human.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. If you are interested in meeting any of our babies, please contact us or complete an online application at https://kykittycats.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=6024 We are a super small, no kill rescue that is operating way above our capacity. Our numbers have increased exponentially since Covid. Unlike most shelters, we remained open and hit record intake numbers after the epidemic hit. We have taken in dozens of very sick felines that had no other option, and have even helped over 60 canines in 2021. 2022 was not any better.  We are trying to compute our end of the year numbers, but intake, vetting expenses, cost of food and litter for our 120 plus cats all just continues to get worse with the cost of living increasing like it has. Our rescue has also provided record number spay/neuters 2023 at well over 1200 surgeries on cats and dogs. Our accounts are drained, but we feel these surgeries are the only way we are going to be able to stay a float. We will never keep up with the rate that cats can breed in our area.  We operate solely on donations, and we are always looking for wonderful families to join our efforts. We have dozens of felines not posted and dozens more on our waiting list. No matter what type of setting you have, if you are looking to save a feline, we can find one for you to help.  Please visit and like our social media...  https://www.facebook.com/kykitties   https://instagram.com/kentuckykittycats?igshid=11qfoexi4imaf   and now we are on TIKTOK! Our PayPal and Venmo is under kykittycats@yahoo.com and our cash app is $kykittycats All donations are much appreciated, and feel free to designate how you want them spent.    November 4, 2024, 2:17 am

Story
Meet WiFi, a handsome male Australian Shepherd mix with striking eyes and a beautiful coat, weighing around 43 pounds. Sadly, this is WiFi's second time at the shelter. He originally came in as a stray in August 2024, was adopted in September, but was returned in October 2024 due to not getting along with the resident cat. WiFi would do best in a home without cats and would thrive with an owner who can give him the time and patience he needs to build trust, especially with small children or other dogs.Potty trained and ready for a fresh start, WiFi is looking for a home where he can shine. With the right owner, he's sure to flourish into a loyal and loving companion. If you think you can provide the time, space, and care WiFi deserves, could you be the one to give him the "optimum connectivity" he needs?

Story
We fostered peach when she was 6 weeks old and she's been with us since. She is a sweet loving dog who always wants to play and make friends with everyone she meets. Unfortunately we had to move to a place that's just too small for her and she doesn't have anywhere to run or play anymore. She is 3 years old now and still has plenty of energy.
