Very protective of his master when others get close, especially my 3 year old grandson. Good fit for a family without children or other similar breeds? Becomes very attached to his master.

He loves to play fetch (especially if the ball has a squeaker!) and tug of war. He’s loves his daily naps but when it’s play time or treats are involved he’ll get the excited shakes. He’s extremely smart and loves to learn new tricks and games. He is great with kids of all ages and is a perfect walker on a leash. He's really an easy and super chill guy! He’s good with other dogs with gentle and gradual introductions. Approximate Birthdate: Apr 2017 Adoption Fee: $200 TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming. TARA's pets are all eligible for a two week trial . Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed. Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds. Jasmine is 2 years old and a mix of Australia shepherd and Husky. She is spayed and current on her vaccinations. She is a sweet girl but high energy. She would do best with somewhere to run and play. She gets along with most dogs and seems to be fine with cats. She is house broken, but has some accidents due to extended kennel time. She does know basic commands (sit, down, stay, drop and comes when called) Due to a change in living arrangements, she has had to be kenneled for extended periods of time and it is not fair to her. Looking for someone that has patients to work through her hyper energy and allow her room to run and play. She is currently staying with my parents to try to allow her more room and time out of her kennel. They cannot keep her for ever due to their 4 dogs.
