Meet Miss Rousey This sweet girl is a little doll! She can't get enough lovins, kisses, or playtime! She's also a fool for some good old fashioned belly rubs! At about a year old, she weighs in at around 30 pounds! We reckon she's hit that perfect in-between size where she can accompany you anywhere, everywhere, or nowhere and she will be happy! It goes without saying JUST how adorable this sweet girl is, and how stinking lovely! This girl loves her bones, and her toys; they keep her nice & occupied the times you're away, and when you're home wellllll... She's as sweet as they come, and quite the little love bug that will make a perfect addition to just about any home! ALL she really is looking for is a lap to cuddle in, and hugs to get. She has gotten on well with kids, cats, other dogs, and being taken on outings! Plus, who can resist that tiny little underbite! She's ALL things adorable! As Rousey spends her time in foster with her foster mom, cats, livestock, you name it! We've also learned that she is entirely house-broken, crate-trained, and more ready than ever to take on adventures, even at her petite size! Rousey is also taken out on outings regularly to continue her socialization and she's only getting better, from her previous, more shy phase. We cannot get enough of this girl!

Story
Pepper is eagerly looking for her forever home! This lovable 2-year-old sweetheart weighs 53 pounds and is a delightful mix, likely a combination of Husky and Australian Shepherd. With a coat as soft as a bunny, she adores belly rubs and cuddling with everyone in her foster home. Pepper enjoys chewing on her bones and occasionally barks, though she’s not as chatty as a typical Husky. She loves spending time outdoors, happily watching birds and squirrels from her yard. While she gets along well with other dogs, she would also thrive as the only dog in the household. To keep her safe and happy, Pepper requires a physically fenced yard where she can run and play freely. Rescued as a stray from an overcrowded shelter in Missouri, Pepper arrived with a lump on her throat. A veterinary visit revealed a damaged salivary gland that needed attention. After undergoing surgery at Iowa State University Lloyd Veterinary Medical Center, she’s on the mend. She also tested positive for Lyme disease but has since received treatment and is ready to find her new family. If you’re looking for a playful and affectionate companion, Pepper might just be the perfect addition to your life! Pepper is house trained, kennel trained, spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, and microchipped. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Are you ready to go on a Journey with Journi?  At just around 6 months old, this little girl is ready to grow and go on to live a long and happy life with you! And just like the band, the “Girl Can’t Help It” she wants some “Lovin’, Touchin’, Squeezin’ ”! “Don’t Stop Believing”…in training! This pup is super smart and will be a star pupil in training or even agility classes!  “Any Way You Want It” Journi is ready to bring some adventure to your life! Journi will need to go “Separate Ways” with cats, she isn’t a match with them unfortunately. As for dogs, she’ll need a laid back dog who will welcome her with “Open Arms”.    Journi’s adoption fee is $300 and includes her spay, microchip, current vaccinations and preventatives plus a free training course at Cedar Run Company in Hiawatha. Last Hope requires that adopters have a history of having kept their animals altered, kept current on all vaccines and preventatives and kept as indoor pets only.
