Story
Mookie is a very sweet Miniature American (Australian) Shepherd. He is three years old. He loves to play fetch, spend time outdoors, and go exploring. He also LOVES to cuddle on your lap and get belly rubs. He also loves to watch squirrels and cars from the top of our couch out the window. Mookie is crate trained and house trained. He rings a bell when he needs to go out. He knows basic commands such as sit, wait, and come. He is highly food motivated for training. He does have reactivity to strangers, other dogs, and cars, which can make walks a struggle in a busy area, but I think he could be trained to walk better, we just haven't been able to make the time. We really are sad to have to rehome him, as he is a sweet cuddle bug , but he does not get along with our older male Aussie. He loves his people! We believe he would do best in a single dog household where he will not be left along for long periods of time often, and can hang with his humans.

Story
This pup showed up in our driveway the last weekend of August, so we're calling her Augusta. The vet says she's 4-6 years old. She's had puppies before, but we got her spayed and also got her current on all of her shots. She's a sweet dog to those she trusts, but can be aggressive when new people or dogs show up. At close to 70lbs, she's a handful to walk because she tends to pull on the leash. She's smart and responds well to treats - she'll be a good dog to train for someone with experience.

Story
Norman is a purebred Toy Australian Shepard. He is 12 pounds about 10 months and very sweet. He can be a little shy at times. He is a good boy he lives with my daughter small and large dogs and also two cats. He is a dog that gets along with everyone but he does like to play with the cats by chasing them which can scare them at times although he would never hurt them. He would be good with an active owner because he has the typical puppy energy. He has a calm demeanor but he can bark in his crate so that would need to be worked on. I hope he can find his forever home soon that can give him the attention he deserves.

Story
Nugget is a cute little male Mini-Aussie/Jack Russell Terrier Mix who was surrendered with his 3 littermates and dad by a puppy mill breeder to a very overcrowded high-kill shelter. These puppies and their father were at risk, so Misty Eyes brought them into our foster care program. They are each in a foster home, and little Nugget is learning how to be an indoor dog with good house manners. If you`d like to meet Nugget, please submit an adoption application online at https://www.mistyeyes.org/adoptionapplication.

Story
We picked Koda up as a puppy from a farm in NC back in 2019. He has grown to the most handsome and loyal good boy. He loves following commands, being walked and chasing sticks around the yard. He has gone through professional training with an Ecollar which will be included with adoption. We can no longer keep Koda due to him being reactive with our 1.5 year old toddler and us planning to have more babies. He is best suited in a home where he can be exercised and played with on a regular basis. It takes him some time to warm up to strangers and especially other dogs. He shared a home with our other large mix breed female dog his entire life.
