Meet Stella - 65lbs. - Stella was purchased from someone on social media. She is extremely nervous & under-socialized. She was likely only with that person her entire life. The volunteers at the shelter have been working with her but she would do best in a home around calmer people regularly. We keep her on a leash at all times. So far she has not willingly let us touch her & barks if we try. She is potty trained & walks well on her leash. She seems interested in squeaky toys & also interested in people. She is definitely a little overweight & could use small walks to help her lose a little weight. She’s absolutely gorgeous & we just know she is going to come along. She does well with calm, confident doggos. Help us find her a foster family. We don’t think she will do well with cats or small dogs. ID# 57480450- Apply to foster or adopt. Zoe is a very sweet, easy-going, happy, 11 pounds, toy miniature Australian Shepherd. Zoe is crate and house trained and she enjoys going for walks. Zoe is good with kids, cats and other dogs. Zoe was rescued from an overcrowded shelter. Zoe is learning to like her crate and she will need a patient home where someone is home most of the time. Zoe will make a wonderful lap dog for someone that is looking for an easy-going sweet girl.

These 3 litte ones came in to rescue as a transport to us. We do not know much about their back story. We believe they must have been from a breeder thatckept them outside in a barn without much human interaction as they are timid. They are just at 3 months old and are starting to come out of their shell here in rescue. They are beautiful little Australian Shepherds. They will do great once placed in a home where time can be spent with them. They are current on their vaccinations, deworming, heartworm and flea prevention. They will not be spayed/neutered until they are age appropriate (6 months). They will go home on a spay/neuter contract with a 75.00 rebate to help towards their spay/neuter when they are age appropriate. My family got him as a companion to our other dog. Turns out she has guarding issues. He ended up with a nasty bite on his ear. He needs a new home so he doesn’t have to be afraid. Will send with supplies. Will take him back if it doesn’t work out. UTD on shots and flea / heart worm meds. Would be best if he was the only pet. He prefers women. He can be slow to warm up but is a good boy. Crate trained, knows basic obedience, potty trained. Needs a fenced yard. Great with kids 8+
