Meet Stella - 65lbs. - Stella was purchased from someone on social media. She is extremely nervous & under-socialized. She was likely only with that person her entire life. The volunteers at the shelter have been working with her but she would do best in a home around calmer people regularly. We keep her on a leash at all times. So far she has not willingly let us touch her & barks if we try. She is potty trained & walks well on her leash. She seems interested in squeaky toys & also interested in people. She is definitely a little overweight & could use small walks to help her lose a little weight. She’s absolutely gorgeous & we just know she is going to come along. She does well with calm, confident doggos. Help us find her a foster family. We don’t think she will do well with cats or small dogs. ID# 57480450- Apply to foster or adopt. Toby is a sweet and playful Australian shepherd saved from a kill shelter. He loves playing with other dogs and needs a home that has a playmate for him. Toby also needs an owner with an active lifestyle who can help him get all his energy out everyday and also requires a home with a fenced in backyard! Here's the truth of it: Toby has a bite history. Toby will be very loyal and friendly to his family he knows but he WILL display protective behaviors when visitors come over and if not crated or kept on leash will bite them.
