Story
We found Tinto at Dekalb County Animal Services. He was the cutest smartest boy and we fell in love with him and his personality. Very very quickly we realized how well mannered & patient he was. Tinto is overall just a good boy. He has never once been aggressive to other dogs or people while we've known him. He's very playful, affectionate, and social. He came fully kitted out: no accidents indoors, no stress in vehicles or public, calm in loud environments, and as smart as a whip. Just an amazing and sweet dog anyone would be lucky to have. We are looking for a dog-loving family who can give him the time and attention he deserves. We are in an apartment and we have busy schedules during the week and can't give him the proper training he deserves and the time and attention he needs. His 2 weaknesses that are bad for our situation are his separation anxiety and his reactivity to cats. He cries whenever left alone and chases cats in houses. He can do better with proper training.

Story
Cobalt is a six-year-old, 38-pound mixed-breed who was surrendered to a shelter. He is in a foster home now and is doing great with the family and their dogs. Cobalt is calm, very affectionate, and great in the house. He does have some skin allergies that are under control now and we’re committed to keep him on the ALR account for his yearly check up with the dermatologist. Cobalt would be a wonderful companion and great for a quiet lifestyle. If he sounds like a good fit for you, please visit www.atlantalabrescue.com and apply. ##1340101##

Story
Meet FiFi a.k.a. “Rotunda” ✨ Please help us welcome this absolute sweetheart to the ReLeashed Rescue family! 💕 FiFi came was an owner surrender to a very high-intake shelter after her owner could no longer care for her. We also learned she had previously been adopted from another shelter two counties over… so this isn’t her first time having her world turned upside down. 💔 Imagine the confusion and heartbreak when animal control showed up and took her from the only home she knew. Despite all of that, FiFi has the MOST loving, forgiving heart. Here’s what we’ve learned about this amazing girl so far:🐾 Total LOVE BUG – she just wants to be close to her people🐾 Friendly with everyone she meets (humans AND dogs!)🐾 Knows how to sit🐾 Potty trained & crate trained 🙌🐾 Heartworm NEGATIVE 💪🐾 When she gets excited, she spins in circles like a little tornado 🌪️ (it’s the cutest thing ever!)🐾 Coming in at a little over 70 lbs 🥴 – she could benefit from a few walks, so if you need a walking buddy… she’s your girl! FiFi is a beautiful husky/Australian shepherd mix with so much love to give. All she wants is a TRUE forever home where she will never have to wonder what’s next again. If you’re ready for a loyal, goofy, affectionate best friend who will give you her whole heart… FiFi is waiting for you. ❤️ 📩 Message us if you’re interested in adopting this special girl!

Story
Meet Ziggy! He arrived at the shelter as a lost boy on 3/3, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim him. The volunteers describe him as sweet, very cute, and a great size! The leash seems like a new thing to him, but the volunteers are working with him and he's doing quite well! Ziggy seems to know several commands because he responds to "sit" and "lay down". Ziggy is approximately 1 year old, and weighs 40 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines and did test negative for heartworms. He will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Please come meet Ziggy in kennel 830; his ID # is 17314. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
