Echo is young Australian Shepherd mix, male, neutered, HW negative and UTD on all shots and Interceptor Plus. He loves toys and people and other animals. He plays extremely well with his Luna (a 100 lbs+ Labrador), and is very careful of Popcorn our old Pocket Pittie. Echo knows many basic instructions, and he is an extremely intelligent and willing student. Echo is medium size and has a working coat which is very easy to maintain. Echo is an active dog, but has his down time period as well. Loves to snuggle. Potential adopter must have prior Australian Shepherd experience, vet references, fenced yard. I took her in from a friend who needed to find a new home for her, her original owner could no longer care for her, I’ve had her for a few months but she is about 2 years old now. She didn’t have any shots or papers when I took her in, not spayed. She’s had some inside training with me but is more suited to being outside. Been very happy and friendly with me and my 6yo boy but been difficult with my 16yo girl, not sure how she feels about cats. You got to meet her to know her, I have collar and leash for her and other effects I can provide if you are interested in this adorable girl.

True to her breed, she is incredibly smart and highly food motivated, which makes her a great candidate for continued training. She is crate trained and mostly house trained, and she gets along wonderfully with other dogs—especially if they’re ready to play! This girl lives for fun. Bellz will happily play fetch all day long and is especially talented at catching a bouncing tennis ball mid-air. Once she’s comfortable, her energetic and playful side really shines. Bellz can be a very shy at first. New people and environments make her nervous, and she will slink low to the ground and stick very close to the person she trusts most. But don’t let that fool you—she is incredibly loving to her special people. She just needs a little time, patience, and reassurance to build confidence for you to be that person. She is wary of strangers and she will warn you if a stranger approaches your home. Your space is her space after all. She would thrive with an owner who is committed to continuing to work on her socialization and with taking her to new places with lots of positive interactions. Because of her sensitive nature, Bellz would do best with a dog-savvy family, ideally someone familiar with herding breeds. She will need a securely fenced yard where she can safely run, play, and burn off her energy. She is still working on her leash skills and does best in calmer, controlled environments with someone she trusts. Once Bellz bonds with you, she bonds hard. She’ll want to be as close as physically possible—curled up beside you, pressed against you, or gazing deeply into your eyes with her intense (and slightly hilarious) Border Collie stare.
