Story
Dooley Gordon was found by a kind soul in rural Alabama, and thanks to her dedication and generosity, he's an Angel Among Us now! We call him Doron, which means a Gift in Hebrew, because he is such a golden boy, in and out.    Doron is very well socialized and loves people, big and small, as well as dogs (cats are unknown, but there are no signs he should be bad with them, either). He is a loving, velcro dog who would follow you around the house and be beyond himself with joy when you come home back to him. He loves going on hikes, riding in a car, playing with toys, and other dogs, but most of all, interacting with his human.    Doron is fully house trained, neutered, up to date on his vaccines and probably very young. He loves his food, which is great, because right now at 37 pounds, he’s slightly underweight. We expect his ideal weight to be around 40-42 pounds. His coat is medium and he does shed in all shades of brown!    Doron must have a big yard where he can run! Right now, he walks on a leash for over 1.5 miles twice a day, and it's not enough, he still enjoys a good run in the backyard. Even though he is crate trained, he isn't great with staying alone for long periods of time and would be vocal about it. Therefore, we don't think he would be good for a condo or an apartment.    Doron is extremely smart and fast. He would be a great companion for an active family, with or without children, who can play with him, spend a lot of time with him and love him. In return, they would get the most loving, loyal and cute companion they could have ever dreamt about!   More pictures of Doron can be found here:  https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjBqiYz An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. We verify rental policies and adhere to any regulations. Please ensure you understand those restrictions before choosing a dog.          November 16, 2024, 5:26 pm

Story
Meet Lois! /(^.^)\ Hello there, my name is Lois and I am an adorable Australian Shepherd Mix. I am brindle and white with cute floppy ears. I am roughly 8.5 months old and weigh about 22 pounds. I am cautious and shy, but I will warm up if you spend some time with me. I get along fantastically with all of my doggie friends, and would do well in a home with a canine buddy. While I may need some guidance with leash manners and potty training, I am willing to learn. With patience and love, I can be a devoted and well-mannered member of your family. Currently, I am in a foster home and available for adoption. If you`re interested in adopting Lois, please fill out an application online, once approved, we will contact the foster so you can meet me or call the Humane Society at 770-887-6480 for more information. Our adoption hours are Tuesday through Thursday 11-5 and Friday and Saturday 1-5. All of cuteness and sweetness, Lois /(^.^)\",AVAILABLE"

Story
Meet Molly! Molly and her "brother", Maze,  were part of a severe neglect case in a rural county we try to help out as often as we can. There were actually three dogs found starved with no water but sadly one of them didn’t survive. But after lots and lots of TLC from the volunteers at the county shelter while they waited for the court system to do its thing and then even more love and attention in their foster home, these babies are ready to find their forever families and get started on their way to Happily Ever After.  Molly is about 2 yrs old  (as of Sept 2024). We think she is an Australian Shepherd mix and she is great with other dogs and absolutely as sweet as can be. SHe would love to find her new best friend who will help her put their past behind them where it belongs! Interested in adopting? Story
Tookie is a 5 year old male Australian Shepherd mix. His mix of light and brown markings, along with his friendly smile make him a very handsome boy. He's approximately 50lbs, Tookie has been neutered and is now heartworm negative.  Tookie loves affection. He's playful but calms down quickly if there's a good ear scratching to be had. Tookie enjoys lounging on his bed in the sun, a little rough housing with his best friend Diamond, and  treats. Lots of treats! He's well behaved, knows sit, comes when called and is crate trained. He does fine with older kids and does well walking on a leash. Note: Tookie and Diamond are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. They share a special bond and provide each other with comfort and companionship. We hope to find a loving home that can welcome both of them and keep their friendship intact.

Story
Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Atlanta, GA Meet Hudson Fox! He is an 2 year old Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog mix and weighs between 45-50 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention. Hudson Fox is nervous around strangers! He hasn’t been tested around kids. He is good with cats! No dogs, due to his reactivity! He is housebroken and crate-trained. Hudson Fox has bitten 3 people. He bit the owner in May 2023 when they attempted to put a muzzle on him while at the vet clinic. He bit the owner’s friend on the hand in May 2024 when meeting him for the first time. Hudson Fox also bit the owner in October 2024 when they attempted to clean his paws after he had an accident in the house. The owner is surrendering him because of his severe anxiety. He also needs an environment with a fenced-in yard, so he can run. He needs to go ASAP! If you think you can provide a great home for Hudson Fox, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $100 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Hudson Fox.
