Hi, my name is Jake and I was rescued with my sister Bambi who is also looking for her forever home! I'm 8 months old and weigh 42 pounds. I'll probably be 50 pounds when I'm full grown so I'm a perfect medium sized pooch. I'm a very sweet and quiet guy who can be a little shy when you first meet me but I warm up quickly. I'm friends with everyone I meet and other dogs too. I have a really short tail so I'm probably an Aussie mix but I'm not a 'herder' like the breed can sometimes be. I'm hoping for a loving adopter who will cherish and love me forever so I don't grow up by myself. I'd love a fenced in yard so I can play and snooze in the backyard. Beautiful Bambi looks just like a little deer! She's 8 months old and weighs 40 pounds and can be a little shy when you first meet her but warms up quickly. She was rescued with her brother, Jake and they're relaxing and learning how to enjoy the quiet moments in life. She has a small tail so we think she's an Aussie mix but she's not a 'herder' like that breed can sometimes be. This sweet gentle girl has the most beautiful amber eyes and is great with everyone and enjoys playing with other pups. She'd blossom with an adopter who will give her love, kindness and patience. Ms Lulu is quite the character! She is happy and funny and Loves to run and run. When she stops, she stops! She took over the house and yard the first day protecting and keeping all threats away from the fence. She is a snuggler and will sit on the couch and sleep in the big person bed or an open crate. She does prowl and protect through the night. She is house trained and uses a doggy door. Lulu is not good with small dogs as her breed likes to keep the "rodents" at bay. I would say no dog under 20lbs - otherwise male or female dogs are fine. No idea about cats. She is a cattle dog and seems as if she may have been trained to herd beyond what comes natural? she is not good with lazy pet goats, pigs and chickens. Cattle and horses would be safe. She is an active working dog who would love an active lifestyle if you can provide it. She loves the water too. She will herd children by nipping on their heels so maybe a bit older children who understand that's just what her breed does and won't cry. She does pretty well on a leash, rides in the car like a pro, loves puppies because she was a mom a time or two. Her tongue hangs out and her jaw is a bit off (maybe birth defect or an injury) but it does not affect her appetite! She is spayed, HW negative and up to date on shots. please apply at www.krrtx.org/forms Please note Lulu is in San Antonio, TX and is available to be transported to your location with Your TX Rescue Connection transport. The fee includes adoption and transportation fee.

My dog is a beautiful, fun and intelligent Australian Shepherd named Princess. She is an amazing dog and I wish I didn't have to give her up but unfortunately with my busy life and the fact I am the only one in the house to walk her or care for her, I am unfortunately not able to provide her with the life she deserves. I have wanted to breed her so have not neutered her, she is a very unique and beautiful dog and deserves to have puppies. She needs a family willing to spend the time and energy to give her a happy, healthy life. She is a little overweight but otherwise completely healthy.
