Story
Meet Archer, a puppy who had a rough start in life but hopefully will never know any more bad times. We don't really know much about his past but he acts as though people were not kind to him. Archer is learning that not everyone is mean and he is now enjoying learning about life! He is in our jail program and the girls in there are helping to bring him out of his shell. This sweet soul embodies gentleness and calmness, making him the perfect companion for those seeking a serene presence in their lives. Archer may be shy and a bit timid at first, but once he warms up to you, he's all about giving and receiving affection. He's a mellow pup who would love nothing more than to spend his days in the comfort of a loving home. With his tender nature, Archer is sure to bring a soothing ambiance to any household. Adopt Archer and experience the joy of unconditional love and companionship. If you'd like to add Archer to your family please visit our website at www.goofyfootrescue.org and fill out an online application. Archer is in foster care in West TN and will be transported once his adoption is finalized

Story
Meet the Spice litter: Caraway, Chive, Dill, Sugar, Oregano, Cumin, and Basil! These 7 puppies were born to mama Nutmeg on 11/8/24.Mom is a beagle/hound mix, and we suspect dad is an Aussie shepherd mix. They are expected to grow to medium sized dogs. Chive is a super cute male puppy! He is a typical happy, playful pup who loves everyone. Good with dogs, cats, people, and kids. Young puppies are like blank slates who, with proper training and socialization, will grow into wonderful dogs. Apply to meet this sweet boy today! Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding! ##2262500##

Story
Meet the Highway 68 litter: Genesis, Livingston, Miller, Lantana, Maryetta, Pomona, and Pevine! While we are unsure of their breed mix, our best guess is some mix of Australian Shepherd and poodle/doodle (or possibly wire terrier) as most of the pups have a wiry coat. Based on their age and current size, we expect them to grow to medium sized dogs. Miller is a male puppy and the only puppy in the litter with a flat coat (not scruffy/wiry like the others). These sweet babies were found abandoned in a tote bag on the side of the road in East TN when they were just a few days old They were named after roads in the area and dubbed the Highway 68 litter. Miller is a typical happy, playful puppy who loves everyone! Good with dogs, cats, people, and kids. Young puppies are like blank slates who, with proper training and socialization, will grow into wonderful dogs. He is medically up to date (age appropriate) and working on housebreaking.
