Story
If you are looking for an active dog with incredible intelligence, look no further than handsome Tocho. This mature boy loves his toys so much that he will often rinse them off in his pool whenever they too get dirty. His intelligence shines through with his hat full of tricks consisting of Sit, Wait, Shake, and Down! Not to mention he walks well on leash and is a master of fetch! He will often drop the ball right between your feet just to make sure you don't lose it and can throw it for him again!  Tocho has been known to do well with most respectful dogs so he may enjoy having a canine companion or two! He has been exposed to cats and some livestock in his past so he may also do well with other furry friends in the right home! His loyalty knows no bounds so once it's earned, you will never lose it! He is fairly active but wouldn't mind having a nice bed to lay on and chew on his toy.  If you want to see if this intelligent man is perfect for you, call the Ranch to meet him today! Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert. All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.  The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300 (unless a reduced fee applies )  APPLY NOW       December 17, 2024, 10:56 pm

Rescue Ranch puppies are raised through our puppy foster program. They will have met adults, children, often other dogs, maybe cats. 16-week or older puppies will have taken part in our "Reading to Rescue Pups" program and attended many events. When they are at least 8 weeks old, puppies are given a wellness exam by a licensed veterinarian.  Before going home, all puppies will have been dewormed and received all age-appropriate vaccinations for parvo/distemper, and Bordetella. If they are 4 months or older they will also have their rabies vaccination. All p uppies are also microchipped and registered with  911PetChip . We require spay/neutering of puppies at 6-8 months old (or the appropriate age for giant breeds)  by our veterinarian. The procedure is covered by the adoption fee. Alternatively, adopters can choose to have the procedure done by their own vet (proof required),  and a portion of the cost will be refunded.    All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.  The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300 (unless a reduced fee applies )  APPLY NOW       February 26, 2025, 7:16 pm

Story
Looking for a dutifully loyal dog? Lydia is your gal. This mature girl was set to be euthanized at another shelter due to a persistent leg injury. The leg had to be amputated but Lydia doesn't seem to realize anything is missing and you barely will either! She is a major fetch enthusiast and often outruns all other dogs to get the ball.  Lydia tends to build strong and incredibly unwavering bonds to those she trusts and would do anything for her people. She is currently paired with our long-term deaf resident Rodeo. These two have been attached at the hip since the day they met, almost as if they understand each other's struggles. Staff often sees Lydia nudging Rodeo in order to wake him up to play! If this intelligent and active girl sounds like the perfect fit for your lifestyle, call the Ranch to meet her today! Story
Meet Mr. Wiggles!  True to his name, Mr. Wiggles' overall happy and outgoing personality often leads to him having full boy wiggles! He loves meeting new people of all ages and usually leans his body on you for all the pets and cuddles you'll give him! His good manners paired with his gentle demeanor means he would even likely be a good family dog! He knows the word 'gentle' when it comes to taking treats and rarely jumps on his people. Even when he does jump up, he is very easy to correct.  Mr. Wiggles is very smart and already knows commands such as 'Sit', 'Stay', 'Down', and has amazing leash manners! He knows to stay by his person's side and does well at ignoring other dogs and people on walks, making him easy to take anywhere! He loves learning new things and is incredibly attentive to his handler meaning he could learn any trick in the book. He would likely be an amazing candidate for search and rescue or even a service dog. He is on the older side and may not qualify for most 'official' titles but he will surely make his people happy helping around the house!  Call the Ranch to come meet him today!
