Story
Fozzie has been with our family as a shelter dog for 3 years. He is happy, and bubbly, barely ever barks, is house trained and loves everybody. We are devastated and heartbroken that we can't bring him with us to our emergency move to florida, due to my dad's allergies. Rehoming fee is negotiable if he goes to the right family. Thank you all so much for loving on my baby.

Story
Loyal, affectionate, and smart - Sienna is the complete package! Sienna is estimated to be around a year old, and she is a darling girl with a big heart and a gentle soul. It's pretty impossible not to fall in love with her as she knows just the way to win your heart with her big brown puppy-dog eyes. She is a big fan of cuddles and will happily make herself comfy with you on the couch for a movie night or an afternoon nap. Sienna weighs about 45lbs, but is underweight and should probably weigh closer to 50lbs. Sienna came to us after she found herself on the euthanasia list at no fault of her own at a Central California animal shelter. She was a young mom of 7 puppies, and she needed our help! We were able to save Sienna and all of her babies, who have been growing up in foster homes and will be available for adoption soon. Her work as a mom is done, and now it's her turn to be the spoiled baby. Sienna's foster parents only have great things to say about this sweet girl. She quickly made herself at home in foster care and has shown herself to be a well-mannered pup who loves making new friends and keeping her foster parents company, no matter what the day brings. She has done great being out and about in public and seems like she would be a wonderful companion for someone who wants a dog to take to dog-friendly breweries and restaurants. She is a moderate-energy gal who enjoys her daily walks and could be a great sidekick if you enjoy the outdoors. Sienna is a very smart girl who is eager to learn, especially if a tasty treat is involved. She has been doing great with her basic manners training and is an ideal fit for someone who wants a dog past the crazy puppy phase. Sienna has shown to be interested in making dog friends and could do well with a dog buddy after a proper introduction. We haven't seen Sienna around cats, but she has shown interest in chasing small critters like squirrels and birds, so she probably would do best in a kitty-free home. Sienna seems like she could be a wonderful addition to a family with kids 7 years and older. Sienna is housetrained. She is not a big fan of being crated, but is happy to sleep through the night on her dog bed in the bedroom. Sienna doesn't like being left alone and needs a family that won't have to leave her often or for long. She seems like she might do well in an apartment/condo with proper daily exercise, as she is a pretty quiet girl. Sienna is such an amazing dog, and she is going to bring so much love and happiness to a very lucky family. If you think that might be you, submit an application today!   Sienna's adoption fee is $300.   Apply to adopt here!  https://form.jotform.com/52017002013129/   Applications are also available on the website (www.yolospca.org)  It can take up to 3-5 business days to hear back once you have submitted an application. The Yolo County SPCA is a private, not-for-profit, foster home-based animal rescue organization and does not have a shelter. All our animals awaiting adoption are in foster homes. Our adoption fees help us cover the cost of spay/neuter surgery, microchip and registration, and rabies vaccination (if over 4 months of age at intake or spay/neuter) for all animals. Dogs are tested for heartworm, started on preventatives, and given a DAPP vaccination. Adult dogs are up to date on their vaccinations prior to adoption. Puppies will be current on the vaccinations appropriate to their age. The adopter is responsible for additional vaccinations as necessary after the adoption. For more information about an animal, please email dogs@yolospca.org. For more general questions, please see our website at www.yolospca.org. May 12, 2026, 11:56 am

Story
Polo is a loving, affectionate girl with a joyful spirit and a heart that is always ready for connection. She thrives on being close to her people and will greet you with happy wiggles and an enthusiastic, friendly energy that lights up the room. This active girl enjoys staying engaged and would do best in a home that offers her regular walks, playtime, and plenty of opportunities to be part of daily life. She is just as happy out exploring and taking in the world as she is relaxing beside you for some quiet time once the day winds down. Being with her people is what makes her feel most content and secure. Polo does have some vision and hearing challenges. She will do best with a patient, supportive family who can help her navigate her surroundings with consistency and gentle guidance. With a little extra understanding, she is sure to build confidence and continue showing her wonderful personality. Given her specific needs, we recommend that any children in her new home be 5 or older so they can be mindful and respectful as she adjusts to her environment. Polo may also do well with another polite, easygoing dog after a slow and thoughtful introduction. With her loving nature, joyful spirit, and loyal heart, Polo is the kind of dog who forms deep bonds with her people. She’s ready to bring endless affection, happiness, and wiggles into the right home.Adoption Price: $200

Story
Our 4-year-old full-breed Australian Shepherd is looking for a loving new home. He is house-trained, very smart, and knows commands like sit, stay, roll over and loves to fetch. He’s great with kids and other dogs, loves people, and would do best in a home with another dog, as he can get lonely and anxious when left alone. He only takes anxiety medication for vet or grooming visits. He does need a little continued work with not grabbing food off the counter. He tends to bark when we have visitors but will settle down after a bit. Overall he is a wonderful, affectionate, loyal dog. This is a very hard decision for our family, but with our big busy household, we feel he would thrive in a quieter home where he can get the calm environment, companionship, and attention he deserves

Story
Courtesy post for rehoming. Patti or Patti Melt and Patti Cake asa her foster lights to call her is a loyal and affectionate beauty. Her favorite activities are catching the ball playing frisbee and snuggling up on the couch with her person. She is food motivated and will do almost anything for treats her stunningly, beautiful ice blue eyes are real showstopper. She is a petite girl at about 45 pounds. She is making progress on leash and is eager to please. She would make an excellent running partner or would simply love to be with her person wherever as long as she is by their side. Patti can be left alone, but needs to feel secure in the area that she is left. She does not like to be in a secluded small space. It takes her a while to warm up to new people so she will require some patience with that. She also enjoys playing with other dogs, but needs close monitoring as she doesn’t have all of the proper social skills yet. She would likely do well with another doggy sibling as long as intros are properly done. Her unwavering and fierce loyalty are her greatest attributes. Whoever adopts Patti will have constant affection and never feel lonely. If you’re interested in meeting Patti please contact her foster mom Anne via phone or text @ (925)699-0841

Story
Flitz is a very playful, affectionate dog who loves being around people. He enjoys attention, cuddling, and spending time with humans, and he also does well around other dogs and cats. He has a fun, loving personality and would do best with someone who wants a companion they can truly spend time with. Flitz is fully trained and knows his obedience commands. He walks well, understands structure, and is also e-collar trained. He has developed cataracts, which has caused him to become blind, but he has adjusted well and uses his nose, hearing, and awareness to navigate. His blindness does not take away from his happy personality or his ability to enjoy life. Due to moving restrictions, we are no longer able to keep him, and we want to make sure he goes to someone with good intentions who will give him the life he deserves. We are looking for a home that can keep him active, loved, and included, whether that means having a safe yard, regular walks, or a clear plan to give him exercise
