Story
Hi, I'm Reese, a 2-year-old Australian Shepherd! I'm incredibly sweet and affectionate, and I love being around people. I have a gentle play style, and nothing makes me happier than playing with my favorite stuffies or carrying a blanket around in my mouth. Fetching a frisbee or ball is my absolute favorite game!I'm a bit nervous and unsure around other dogs, probably because I haven't had much chance to practice socializing with them. I have had fun playing with a few mellow, experienced dogs who understand when I need my space and respect my boundaries.I'm looking for a home where I can continue to learn and grow at my own pace. With my loving nature and playful spirit, I'm ready to bring joy and companionship to my new family. Can't wait to meet you! Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: Tri Color Weight: 44 Age: 2yrs 7mths 2wks

Story
Border Collie mix, male puppyFIGGY is a gorgeous 8 mo/55lb male Border Collie puppy. He’s neutered, chipped, and up to date on vaccines. He’s ready for his forever home. As you may expect with any Border Collie, he is intelligent, sweet and friendly. He’s a touch apprehensive until he gets used to you, but he is well-adjusted and a very good boy. Figgy has been in foster since he was five weeks old. He’s the perfect age to adopt as he’s gotten through the most challenging parts of puppyhood, but he’s still young and impressionable. Figgy is crate trained, house trained (but still a puppy, so he needs carefully watching for cues that he needs to go out) and walks well on a leash. He likes to stick by his human’s side, and definitely has that border collie drive and eagerness to please. He walks himself back into his crate on command. Very treat motivated and loves to learn (great for training!). Hasn’t been tested with cats, but is very dog friendly. He needs a herding dog savvy home without young children, someone with the time and energy to train and socialize a young puppy, and who is looking for a lifelong companion. He would do well in a house with or without other dogs, but he’d do best in a house with dogs 30lbs+. Figgy is being fostered in Bakersfield. Story
Border Collie mix, female 4 years oldHi- I’m Roo! I’m doing great and making progress with my foster mom, Kim. She feeds me yummy things and takes me out on walks. Oh and she is very patient with me. I love when she has conversations with me, that really gets my tail going. I’ve been exploring more places in and out of the house, gaining exposure to as many things as possible, but my safe space is under Kim’s bed. Although, recently I tried on top of the bed and that was pretty cozy too. I am a 4 year old, female border collie that weights approximately 36lbs. Located in SoCal / OC area. Stay tuned as I continue to come out of my shell and blossom into the best girl.   Photos and updates:  https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1228281524800166&type=3 Interested in Roo?  Please fill out an application at: https://bit.ly/CCHDR_AppOctober 3, 2024, 5:02 pm
