She is a 40-pound, 16-month-old Australian Shepherd. She is friendly and clingy, loving people more than other dogs. This was also the reason I chose her; she was the only puppy in the litter that stayed by my side. I am looking for a stable home. The most important thing is having flexible working hours to spend time with her and provide at least 1-2 hours of exercise daily. Ideally, I prefer living in a house so she can have more space to play.

Howdy YALL! I'm Georgia, I am the new girl around this place called Calpaws K9 Rescue! I am living with this nice woman and her hubby local to Livermore, CA but willing to travel for the right home. I flew in from the Central Valley (yes road great on a private plane) where I was at a boarding facility. I was 1 of 4 pups that were dropped off there after our backyard breeder couldn't get rid of us. I guess there are too many puppies in the world. Thankfully I landed here. My foster mom and dad said I shouldnt brag about myself so they wrote a little something about me and here it is…. “Georgia is super shy at first but her goofy personality really shines after a few minutes together. She sleeps well in a crate and goes potty outside almost 100% of the time. She currently knows to sit, down, and come but they are newer commands to her so she doesn’t get them all the time. She’s a real cuddle bug and loves to sit next to you on the couch. She really loves other dogs and takes being corrected by other dogs well. She’s pretty respectful of other dogs' space and boundaries. She is okay with cats but she likes to chase them so it’s entirely dependent on the cat in the home if they will tolerate her. She walks very well on a leash but sometimes gets spooked by new or loud sounds and will stop walking until you tell her it’s okay. She loves water and has no problems with baths! She’ll even try to join you in the shower if you let her. She's a perfect shotgun rider and would love a road trip or two. Kenji is one of our parvo survivors from Fresno Humane. DOB is 9/11/23 and best breed guess is Aussie/Shep/Lab mix. He is a big boy at 55 lbs. He loves treats and loves to please. He has a shy submissive demeanor and needs work on his confidence. Kenji has started his leash training and is also good off leash hiking. Working on his carsickness. Housetrained and using a doggy door. We love this boy! He is a foster favorite for his good behavior. Meet Jingles! He is a special guy whose tail jingles a mile a minute. He is a happy fella that may have been born with or experienced some previous trauma that has led to what we think are neurological and brain function, and mild depth perception issues. He's a busy boy with a lot of motion and circling. He likes toys, loves treats!! This doesn't seem to inhibit him from loving life, and wanting to have fun! He will need to find a family that not only has experience, but are also willing to take on the quirks that make him so special. He will need to meet everyone in the family prior to adoption, and we recommend no kids, teenagers are fine. Any dogs he is to live with need to be tolerant and non reactive. Positive reinforcement training is recommended to help teach him manners, he grabs at food so some caution is needed when giving treats.
