Story
Juni will need to be picked up in Rancho Cucamonga, CA where she is currently in foster care. Hi, I'm Juni (short for Juniper)! I'm a young, 1-year-old Miniature Aussie with a heart full of love. My world is full of wonder and curiosity. I love exploring new things and I'm a playful pup always ready for a game of fetch or a fun romp in the yard. I'm very affectionate and love to cuddle and snuggle up for a good nap or for a pet on my soft fur. My gentle nature and friendly spirit make me a great companion and I am just the right size to care for (appox 30 lbs). I've got energy to spare and a tail that won't stop wagging. But what I want most is a family to share all my love and energy with. Adopting me means boundless love, and a faithful friend forever. My adoption fee is $400 and I have an appointment to be spayed in January. Email Alphadogpetrescue@yahoo.com for an application to adopt me at I am located near Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

Story
Breed: Australian Shepherd DOB: 5/17/2014 Gender: female Altered: yes Coat: long Size: large Color(s): blue merle Description:Hi, I'm Gracie, a gorgeous Australian Shepherd who is in need of a new home as a previously torn ACL which remains susceptible to re-injury has made my current two story home uninhabitable for me.I enjoy eating, sleeping, cuddling and chilling. I'm good with children and cats, although I might want to chase them, but just to play. I'm not good with other dogs inside or outside the home. I'm still active, but due to my previous injury I need to be in a single story home and my activity needs to be monitored. I tend to be anxious at times so I take  trazadone to help keep this under control. My owners let me sleep with them, I hope you will too.As you can see from my photos, I ride great in the car, I enjoy playing in the sprinklers and I've been to the snow. I know basic commands and I'm sure I could learn more.If you're interested in meeting me, please fill out an online application.June 23, 2024, 3:17 pm

Story
Listen up, folks! It`s time to meet the one and only Tj, the black and white charmer of the Australian Shepherd mix world! This pup has got the looks, the personality, and a whole lot of spunk to boot.Tj may only be a year and two months old, but he`s already mastered the art of leash walking. He struts his stuff with such finesse that you`ll feel like you`re walking with a canine model on a fashion runway. And let`s not forget about his love for treats - this pup will do just about anything for a tasty snack. Just be prepared for some serious puppy dog eyes and a tail wag that could power a wind turbine. But Tj`s charisma doesn`t stop there. He`s a social butterfly who adores the company of other dogs. Whether it`s a game of fetch, a friendly wrestle, or a good old-fashioned belly rub session, Tj knows how to have a doggone good time. He`s the life of the doggy party, always ready to make new furry friends and spread the joy wherever he goes.Weighing in at approximately 54.00 lbs, Tj is the perfect combination of cuddly and compact. He`s got just the right amount of fluff to snuggle up with on a lazy Sunday afternoon, but he`s also agile enough to join you on all your outdoor adventures. With Tj by your side, you`ll have the best of both worlds - a loyal companion and a four-legged bundle of love. Now, here`s the scoop - Tj has been hanging out at the shelter since Nov 19, 2023. But fear not, my friends, because he`s currently living it up in a foster home while he patiently waits for his forever family. This lucky pup is experiencing all the joys of a temporary home, complete with comfy couches, tasty treats, and endless love. So, if you`re ready to add a dash of excitement and a whole lot of wagging tails to your life, head on over to the shelter and meet Tj. Get ready for an adventure filled with laughter, puppy kisses, and memories that will last a lifetime. Adopt Tj, and brace yourself for a whirlwind of fun, mischief, and a love that`s as wild as the Australian Outback. Trust me, folks, this pup is the real deal - a one-of-a-kind companion who will steal your heart faster than you can say `fetch!`

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Hi! My name is Cody and I’m at the Santa Barbara Campus. I’m an approximately 4 year old, male, Australian Shepherd. My last family wasn't able to take care of me anymore but I'm a silly, energetic, loving boy, who is ready to find a new home! I'd love for my next person to give me tons of scratches and take me out on lots of adventures. I did come in at a whopping 77 lbs (which is a lot chonk for a guy my size!) and my people here have already helped me lose 5 lbs so having a dedicated owner to help me lose some more would be very beneficial to help me thrive! I like to play keep away with my toys, I may be too active for small children, and though I've done well with other dogs, no cats please! I'm not the biggest fan of them #DawgzRule. If you'd like a spunky little big guy, come meet me! Interested in meeting me? Please stop by during open hours: daily 12:00pm-4:30pm, closed Wednesdays. For more information on our adoption program, please email Adopt@SBHumane.org or call 805-964-4777. Animals adopted from Santa Barbara Humane have been spayed/neutered, are current on vaccinations, and are microchipped. Adoptions include a complimentary health exam from a participating veterinarian, a starter bag of Purina food, and discounted dog training class fees. All the supplies you need are available at SBH Retail Centers and sales help support our programs.
