Her owners lost their jobs and now have new jobs with hours that don't allow them to provide her with the attention she deserves. She is 9 months old, spayed and up to date on vaccinations. She loves people and kids. Plus, she is good with dogs, she has gone to Doggie Daycare and spends time at the dog park. She at first but then plays well with others.

Iza was a dog we agreed to take in over a year ago in Armenia that had been wasting away at the shelter overloaded with dogs but the CDC had shut down travel, and we finally got approval to bring her over. She’s approx 6 years old and great with dogs and despite her past, an absolute sweetheart with people. Iza, like many strays in Armenia, was emaciated and neglected. There are a lot of people in the world that don’t find value in a dog’s life as she was deliberately hit by a car and left for dead. The accident didn’t take away her will to live, although it took away her vision. Thankfully good people exist, and we appreciate our good friend, Susanna, who took her in and got her vetted. She is 100% blind and she'll need a home that will help her learn where all the furniture is located so she can find her favorite spot. She is very dog-friendly and is a very low-maintenance dog as her favorite things to do are sunbathe, going on walks, and receive belly rubs. Wit6h the bluest eyes which are dramatically enhanced by the black fur around them. He is the perfect dog. Extremely sweet, kind, loving and very hard working. He is definitely a herding dog at his core. He loves to round up other dogs and he is very active. He will thrive with an active family. j He gets along well with all people and loves all dogs. He has not been around cats but with proper introduction he will be their best friend too. He has the sweetest disposition. He is 8 months old and weighs 45 pounds. This is heartbreaking. Im moving soon, leaving my work-from-home career, and going back into an office full time everyday. I cannot leave my dog alone all day to dwindle. He needs lots of love, attention and activity, daily. Shadow needs an experienced handler, familiar with the breed. I've had him since he was a puppy and took great strides to keep him active and social. I've trained him off leash for years to obey most directional commands and he has been trained on leash as well. Shadow is a very loving dog, but I think he is needy, too. Very intelligent and very ready to play and interact. He is also territorial and possessive. He loves his ball but can be aggressive if another large dog approaches him when both are off leash and Shadow is protecting his ball. He's never hurt another dog or person but he can seem intimidating to the wrong person. Shadow and my roommates dog are great friends and want him to have at least another dog companion. More to say but out of space.

Sarge is a very loveable dog. He would be a lap dog, if possible. He was born deaf. He is very smart and has learned a few signs. He loves to play with other dogs. He can be a little overwhelming to new dogs because he can't hear their social cues. It takes a short while but he figures it out and is very playful. He is very sweet and cuddly. We will be moving in the near future and we are looking for somebody (or a family) to love him.

Bowser found himself at the shelter because his family had a human baby, and no longer had the time to care for him. He is a sweet, playful boy who is a little confused on why he ended up here. Bowser is a great walker, and just absolutely loves playing fetch. He is a very smart boy and already knows a few commands like sit, down, and stay. He seems to be some sort of herding mix, maybe Aussie/Shepherd?? Bowser will need a dog savvy home who will give him the exercise and structure that he needs to be successful! We don't think he would be appropriate with young kids. Right now he would need to go home with kids 16 years or older, but would most likely do best in an adult only home. Bowser is a very sweet boy, he loves to cuddle up next to you and get belly rubs. He is dog friendly, and would probably do very well with another playful pup in the home! November 5, 2024, 10:53 am
