Chocolate Chip and his siblings came into our rescue together, and we’re told their mom is an Australian Shepherd while dad remains a mystery—making him a perfectly unique little mix! He’s all puppy—full of love, curiosity, and charm—but he’s already putting in the work! Chocolate Chip is currently in training classes and is quickly turning into quite the little gentleman. This sweet boy absolutely loves his people. Whether he’s cuddling up close or heading out on long walks, he’s happiest when he’s by your side. He has a special way of bonding and will make a loyal, loving companion for the lucky family who adopts him. If you’re looking for a smart, affectionate pup with tons of potential and personality, Chocolate Chip is your guy! Zoe is a tricolor Mini Australian Shepherd who turned 10 on April 20. She’s affectionate, active, and loves to cuddle. Zoe is house-trained, spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and in excellent health with recent bloodwork. She’s had consistent vet care, grooming, dental cleanings, and monthly flea/heartworm prevention.She does best as the only pet in a home but would be fine with another dog if they get along. She’s best in a home with older teens/adults. She doesn’t do well at dog parks or around young children due to her herding instincts. Zoe needs daily exercise and prefers to be around her owner during the day, not alone.We’re sadly rehoming Zoe because her unease around loud kids and herding instincts have caused her to nip and we have another baby on the way with a toddler to manage already. She would do great in any other household and is very loyal, obedient, and affectionate. She does VERY well on plane flights and is generally calm. Message me with questions.

Meet Our Resilient Beauty: Foxy Stop and take a look at those ears! This stunning Australian Shepherd mix is quite simply one of the most beautiful dogs we have ever had in our care. With her unique merle coat, expressive amber eyes, she turns heads everywhere she goes. She is a visually striking dog, but her journey is what truly touches our hearts. Foxy is 3.5 years old and weighs 42 pounds. The Truth Behind the Beauty The sad reality of shelter life is that some dogs get left behind. Foxy has been waiting with us for much too long. When she first arrived, she was a standard, slightly energetic pup, but since than has withdrawn a bit around new people. She is one of our few dogs that we have in boarding and even though she hangs out with 20 dogs and is great with them. She’s become shy around new people, but loves the workers. She is not a "plug-and-play" companion; she is a rehabilitation project wrapped in gorgeous fur. Because of this, she MUST be adopted into a home with at least one other confident, social dog. She needs a furry mentor to model good behavior, show her that the humans are safe, and remind her how to play. Her Perfect Person Foxy requires a very specific type of home. This isn't a placement for a first-time dog owner or someone with a bustling, loud household. Her new owner must possess the following: • Patience of a Saint: You will not get a "cuddle bug" on day one, or perhaps even day 5. She needs you to be her quiet, steady rock while she decompresses. • Zero Expectations: You must love her for who she is right now and celebrate tiny victories along the way • Time and Dedication: Training and bonding will require daily commitment to positive reinforcement and building trust at her extremely slow pace. • A Secure Yard: Because she is easily spooked, a fully secure fence is a must for her safety or a secure apartment. We are opening the application process for ANDY!!! He is a 9 pound 100% miniature Australian Shepherd. Andy was found running scared as a stray in a desolate desert area, and taken to an overcrowded, extremely high kill shelter! Unfortunately his people didn't come for him and he was quickly tagged for euthanasia due to overcrowding. Thankfully one of our amazing volunteers spotted him and offered to pick up and foster him. Andy is believed to be 2-3 years old, weighs only 9 pounds, super sweet, dog and cat friendly, potty trained. Though Andy is kid friendly, he prefers older kids. The VERY first step is completing an application on-line.
